Dude thanks a million for showing the hammer on sections .. finally got it once you demonstrated. Was struggling with that stretch at 2.46 from 7th fret to 2nd fret. Also noticed the timing of the right hand tap and the left hand hammer with the pinky needs to be perfect. I don't lay down the pinky hammer until I'm ready to release/flick the right hand tap. Tuning is DGCFAD for those who asked.
Sure but i prefer to stay in double DROP D (DADGBD) This allows me not to detune my guitar too much

I tried learning this on Rocksmith for Xbox and struggled with some parts. Hate how Rocksmith has their tabs shown perpendicular. Can't get used to it. This helped a lot by showing it in regular speed and then slowing it down after. Now I have to remember everything, lol. Didn't realize there was finger tapping before in parts, doh. Great video!

Hey my dudes, just a heads up. If you're like me and trying to play this on a guitar that doesn't have a cut-out, and you can't get to the 18th fret on the A string. You can always just play the 14th fret on the high D string. It sounds the same to me, that's what I do.

The tapping part is a little difficult and tricky for me, because my hands are a lot shorter than yours and Omega's (its almost impossible for me to reach with my pinky from the 2nd to the 7th fret with one hand haha), but I'm working hard to get it done right, and Eventually I will (or eventually i will break my hand hahaha). :)

jajja me pasaba lo mismo antes pero buscaba otras soluciones como tocar ese mismo tapping en otra cuerda en las mimas notas donde no haya que separar tantos los dedos hasta que despues los dedos se adecuan con el tiempo y son mas flexibles xD la posicion de la mano tambien importa! intenta mover la muñeca o el pulgar de manera que la mano quede mas comoda para estirar el meñique ;)

I watched this live and during the chorus outro part it looks like they're playing it differently my fingers can't reach just that one part and it would really help if you could give me a tab or tell me if you know how to do it how they do it
It’s only the recent lead Ghoul that has moved it. It’s always been played there.
Get those hands stretched :)

Alright dammit i want to learn this damn solo so i will be finished with this song finally.and normally you play it normal speed and then slow it down to a learnable speed but no no no you had to start shredding even during the slow part of the lesson.which sound fucking RIDONKULOUS by the way.you rip dude thanks for the videos you have no idea hoe much joy theyve brought me so thank you sir.one question....did you learn all this shit by ear?

how are you able to make that stretch from the 7th to the 2nd fret on the tapping part? are the frets on your Zack Wilde guitar smaller than normal? or do I just have midget hands. haha

it turns out that it is hard to learn it just by looking without written tabs. i spent 5 minutes just trying to figure out which finger is pressing and strings along with my guitar. has someone put the notes in written form somewhere - the ultimate guitar version of the song, i think is different from this one. any help anyone?

When you open a video on RUclips tap the screen and you should see 3 dots in the top corner (it may be elsewhere if it’s not iOS) when you tap those it will say playback speed in the list. Select that and then go for 0.50 or 0.75. Let me know.

The new ghoul avoids the stretch and just plays 2,5 instead of 2,7. It is cheating but sounds very similar. Merry Christmas 🎅🏻✊🏻
