  • We flew 18hrs+ on Singapore Airlines from New York's JFK Airport to Singapore Changi Airport on the world’s LONGEST FLIGHT!
    In this video we flew business class, and since we flew round trip, I did include a look at the Silver Kris Lounge, which is Singapore Airlines Lounge in Singapore, incase you take the flight from Singapore to NY.
    We did check out the new American Express Centurion Lounge at JFK airport as well, which will be in my next video.
    This video showcases my entire experience with the new beautiful Singapore Airlines ultra long haul business class seat, some amazing Singapore Airlines business class food, the inflight entertainment, and even get a sense for the award winning Singapore Airlines’ hospitality.

    I love to fly longhaul but I wouldn't give up my favourite seats which are by the window 2-3 rows behind the wing give me the 2nd-best views ever (the very best one is in the cockpit) 😀 Sunrise-views over the wing is something to remember so I'll stick to my good old economy-class 🙂

      We were needed to be fresh for Singapore...and needed to make sure that we got some sleep. I have to say that this is the first flight ✈️ that I have gotten off feeling refreshed & ready to go shoot a day somewhere. It was a great feeling!

      @@hollycaputowanderlustI never land fresh but I rather get tired onboard than in the office on a hard day at work. I'm an avgeek and plane-spotter so I need the best views to have fun 😀😀

      @gerysphotos3519 I struggle with my inner ear, so I wear seabands & hope for the best when I land. We had a tight agenda, so was trying to see & capture as much as Singapore as I could. So it was nice to land feeling good

    I flew the same route a few months ago. I had access to the Amex Centurion Lounge which I used (to have a shower) but I also tested the Prime and the Maharaja Lounges. It was a lounge-hopping :)

      @hollycaputowanderlust  4 месяца назад +1

      We kinda lounge hopped ourselves....which is very fun! I vlogged the Centurion too, b/c it was our first time. I thought it was nice, just really narrow!

      @@hollycaputowanderlust Yes, of the three, Centurion was the best. I didn't get to experience the Speakeasy or the Equinox (I think our Platinum Card doesn't allow access). Though I liked the lounge and think it is a great one relative to North American standards I think the SIA should have a better lounge for the 'world's longest flight'. If I remember correctly, they used to give access to another lounge (the Virgin Club?) but not anymore. :)

      @hollycaputowanderlust  4 месяца назад +1

      @adventuresofmidlife I totally agree...it should absolutely have a better lounge...to be honest I was shocked...
      And just the fyi...once inside the Centurion everyone has full access to the Speakeasy. It's such a cool feature!

      @@nilsrbenjamin I would upgrade as late as possible for the best deal...it could fluctuate from $40k to $1200 depending on how full the flight is

    Could it do 20.000 km with only 30 passengers and minimal luggage? As Airbus mentions a range of ~17.000 km with 400 passengers.

    Nice video. Were you ever offered the “MySQS upgrade” prior to departure without you calling or visiting the airport and asking?

    • @hollycaputowanderlust
      @hollycaputowanderlust  4 месяца назад

      That is 72 hrs before flight. We had already called on 1st flight...on 2nd flight we never got b/c almost full. When I called asking about it b/c it wasn't showing online they told me seats were 40k usd to upgrade- which is crazy...so we waited until the airport & got for $1400

      On the way there...my first call...it was 10k...so we waited...but Manny was pretty adamant about upgrading so when I called back it came to about 6k for both of us usd...and on the return at the airport it was $1400 usd per person
