      @@fishingmad got there at 5:30am
      berleyed using corn and chook pellets. caught on a running sinker rig with powerbait and noticed they hit more on the cheese powerbait

    Really informative video Alan 👌🏼 it’s good to know now what some good options are for the trout are, don’t know much about fresh water fish so it helps heaps

    Man I gotta do some trout fishing again! I been so hung up on smallmouth bass and multi species tournaments that I haven’t gone back to my roots for a while! Next video I post will have to include me catching some trout! Thanks brotha for the sick vid and keep tight lines🤘

    went trout fishing yesterday using worms as bait next time I'm considering using hotdog pieces as well as worms which will hold the worms in place..at least that's what think I'll know for sure next week.

    How well do prawns and or squid work

      I've caught a few trout on prawns but typically prawns and squid work much better in saltwater.

    I caught a 60 cm stonka there on a spoon, it would have been at leas 5kg plus! I’ve never seen a trout so fat! I also caught a 54cm on a Zman grub although it wasn’t nearly as fat it fought a hell of a lot harder.

      Brilliant, !! Well done. Yeah its amazing catching fish that big in our local family lakes. I will be doing a followup to this vid on trout lures and soft plastics next.
