Just bought this still new in box at Goodwill for $30 and the battery was fully charged right out of the box. Everything was still packaged in the boxes with the plastic wrap and those peel off strips. Looks cheap but works great. Will buy the upgrade battery as a backup eventually. Patiox appears to be a up and coming name brand.
@@decentreviewsbycam7479 Good video. I am looking for a trimmer that can attach metal cutter . Can u do a review now or 1 year after? Still working? Did you use a higher power battery ? I found some weeding metal tools & wheels to buy from Temu which enhance the power 7 efficiency of this trimmer .
Thanks. I was so hopeful that you had found the silver bullet. As you said, it's not bad, not great. Al they need is more power and better blades. The market is huge from us "string dropouts!"
I agree definitely a market for this! Hopefully there will be some improvements with newer models in the future although I will say I still enjoy using the trimmer haha!
@@decentreviewsbycam7479 How long do the blades last before needing replacing, and are they expensive once you run out of them and have to purchase more ?
Hey there! It depends on the usage. With the plastic nylon type blades I only had to replace some after it wore down or broke from me hitting concrete areas too many times. If you're just in open grassy areas trimming they should go for a fair amount of time. Looks like they are cheap for the plastic replacements I've seen like a set of 20 blades for like 20 to 30 dollars!
Entertaining video BUT, you didn't use the metal blades AT ALL! I was especially curious about the circular saw looking blade and how well the metal sickle blades would stand up to edging along the concrete, would they be damaged easily?
Thank you! thanks for watching! I know probably need to test the metal blades out at some point! I don't think I would edge with the metal blades though I wouldn't trust myself to stay accurate and it would definitely do some damage to the concrete Im sure. I would probably use that on some open area of real thick brush and weeds that need a little stronger cutting action. I would like to try the circular saw blade on some tree branches see how it does.
Good question! I’ve seen some similar looking batteries on Amazon but not sure if they would fit. I would probably reach out to the seller of the trimmer and see if they can direct you to a replacement battery option!
This is the funniest video so entertaining I love it! Around my yard I have rocks that line up portions instead of concrete where I need to cut. Do you think this would work pretty well around that or not especially with the sled attachments? I’m an individual with a disability and I’m trying to find a different style of edger. I have a battery powered Ryobi now and my legs start hurting more and more so I’m just trying to find something that will be beneficial. What are your thoughts on this especially around rocks?
Wow! thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it!! Yeah I think this could work well for that, the sled attachment is pretty clever and glides pretty effortlessly! This weed trimmer has grown on me lately as I continue to use it. Some other good options that have a nice wheel for edging the lawn is Hart and Hypertough from Walmart!
Tools on the dinning table, vacuum outside on the concrete, rolling around on the floor in a white T shirt… I hope you’re single otherwise you’re screwed when the Mrs see’s this vid.!!!👀🥊💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
This is the most entertaining tutorial on YT I've ever seen ! I am looking for a weed eater without String ! 😵💫
Sorry just seeing this! Wow appreciate that thank you! Lol hope you were able to get a weed eater without a string! It’s pretty great!
LOL. This was fun to watch on a Monday morning! I kept shaking my head. Definitely entertaining. Thank you for the review.
Lol thank you!! I try to make the reviews here different, so glad to hear it was entertaining!

Wow that’s a great find!! And to be new even better! Yes solid trimmer! That’s a good idea I should get a backup battery as well.
I bought one of these and I love it! The plastic blades work well.
that's awesome! I'm glad you are enjoying it! I'm liking it as well thus far

Have you had to replace all the blades yet? Are replacement blades easy to find and are they expensive?
I have replaced about 3 to 4 blades thus far! Not expensive for the replacements you can get a large 20 blade pack for like 20 to 30 dollars!
How much did they pay you to say that
This the best and most entertaining dude on yt! I love it
Wow! Mykhael you're the man!! Thank you, very much appreciated!! 💪
Love the humor 😅 I would have liked to see how the other blades worked out.
lol Thank you! Yes still need to test those out!
Nice! I saw metal blades too at the end when you were laying everything out. Is the metal blade sharp? Is that plastic blade sharp?
Thanks!! Still need to test the metal blades but they looked pretty sharp/durable. The plastic blade is middle of the road Id say.
@@decentreviewsbycam7479 I tried the metal blades and they are sharp and work well.
Good to hear I will have to use them soon! Thank you!
Great video brother
Thank you man! Much Appreciated!

lol 😆Yeah all risky things Im glad you noticed! Lets just say its better in this scenario to apologize later haha!
Ok. I wanted to see more action during assembling. But I think the instructor is giving us the feeling that weed whacking is a roll on the side walk.😅
lol I really wanted to illustrate the analogy to the viewers!
I think you shouldn’t be putting your hands near that blade when you have the battery still attached just saying
Lol 😆 yeah but I’m a professional
Wouldn't make it thru the first battery in my yard.
Hmm oh man really! mine has been goin for awhile on its single charge thankfully how big is your yard ?
😂😢😅😊
loll thank you
😭 P R O M O S M
