While watching this, it made me realise that the only constant thing in this world is change. It's already 2021, not 2011 like some of us remember like yesterday. Most of the good old buses that we knew from that time have gone, some of the older trainsets have been scrapped, and newer models come in to replace them. Change is inevitable. We grow up, our parents grow old, places change, people die, people are born. We have to accept that things today are not the way they used to be, no matter how much we prefer it the old way, and adapt with the new times. Cherish and savour the memories of the past, but never forget our goal in life is to keep moving forward and work hard for our future.
Yes, but the better future most certainly isn't scrapyard, but rather museum (such as in UK, Germany, France,...) or conversion into smth. else. Everything but scrap.🙂😢😉
Hispano habits. I used to take them to/from school and for leisure.I miss them so much.Their awesome voith and ZF.They gave good memories. 😢 and happy 36k! 🎉

Ahhhh the times where I see 3 buses filled to the max , the times where we shout OI UNLCE THE BUS DOOR NOT CLOSE while speeding of from the bus stops , the times where the door fail to close , the times where the bus door hits you on the back pushing you forward hitting the pole or people and last but not least the only bus where we could stand on the steps in you know you know ! Got all the memories in this bus thanks to svc 962:) Today they were replaced by the Volvo B9TL's but the memories of this bus will never be replaced and forgotten. Some bus plates i remember so well, TIB1112L, TIB1113H, TIB1240A, These 3 were so common on service 851 when i used to take them from chinatown to singapore after tution on school days back in 2013-2015. really miss them. Especially the engine noise on 1112, 1113, 1147, 1148 etc will be more aggressive and more pleasant to hear on those long rides than those from 1240, 1219, 1218 etc
man soo much memories. I remembered taking this sometimes after school when my parents fetch me. I usually seen it on 300, 301, 302, 67, 190, 172 and many more. Now, they all have ben scrapped(excluding TIB1238H of course)
Man I miss them much especially with ads. I still remember taking this bus on my 187 & many more when I'm in my teens..... Sadly they're gone..........
I used to take this buses a lot when I was young the last time I got to ride them was in 2019 ig on bus 856 still remembered the chilly aircon didn't know that they are so old already they look quite modern I also remembered the orange bins on the side of the exits
Yea I always ride to CCK Polyclinic whenever I get sick. Even once I caught a DAF on 190. Or a different service that stops there. But now. Singapore without these legendary O405Gs is just sad

I won't say they are perfect uh and also I understand where they are coming from to replace the bendies with cleaner buses. But their lack of community engagement and preservation efforts is bewildering to say the least

No it was scrapped early in 2017 because it never went back to service plus the damaged parts are hard to repair
