Great review. I’ve dabbled using inks but never thought to dilute them down with water. I find you very inspirational. And whilst you don’t like to mention your sight impairment, it is so encouraging to know you are creative and embrace what makes you you😊👍🏻
I like the powerful, vivid colors of Dr. pH. Martin's. Great color formulation. I have the red and love it. BUT the finish is almost a lacquer finish and my slight OCD side gets worked up over that since all my other colored inks are matte (mostly Monte Verde inks) I use a Dip pen for applying colors and it applies colors thickly but uniformly which makes the gloss more pronounced.
Thanks for this video. I wasn’t sure how these inks would be so I’m glad you featured them! I’m 68 y/o and have Macular Degeneration which is wrecking my vision. Why I picked now to learn how to paint with watercolors, I don’t know. There was just a burning desire to learn. So I’m learning but it is going very slowly! I don’t make videos right now bc who would want to watch this crazy old cat lady try to paint, right? But I love watching others create, it gives me so much inspiration! Thank you for being you! I think you are terrific!! ❤️ 🎨Annie
Wow, I bought these over a year ago, just before I was reassigned overseas. I did not want to open the bottles for fear of leaking while moving my household goods. I intended to use these for caligraphy but they can be used like Inktense. I still will not use them until my final move and I settle down. At least I know know their potential. Thanks!
Dear Karia, thank you for a lovely review. I have a few of doc martins colors from his watercolor line. Super brilliant., I should use them more often.. ~ I also struggle with low - vision, and I’m getting better at being more patient with myself. ~ I love your kitty. I grew up in NYC, and my very first cat was a grey tabby. 😽😸💞 I called him, “ Pisano “ which means friend in Italian. < I would love to see you spin yarn, and share some about that craft . I absolutely LOVE yarn & I taught myself several yarn crafts. 😆📝❤️✨much love, from NYC CRAFTER
BarbaraMerry Geng I’d very much like to see Karia do something with yarn or fiber too! I’m eager to learn bc I don’t have a lot of living time left. 🌸Annie
Two years too late but I bought a single jar of the Bombay Ink (for a glass dip pen) and had general questions in my head that you, again, managed to answer. You have always come through with my questions❤️❤️ . Miss you so much. Ok so where can I buy that whining cat? My Hong Kong whining cat went to the great outdoors in the sky (, 3 years ago) , now I am ready for another one😔😛
Did you see the video of a macaw (I think, could be a white parrot) opening a hinged box and finding a cat, the cat hits the macaw and the macaw moves over and flips the lid back on the car? The caption reads, "When you meet a stranger and the stranger is rude." I can't stop laughing!
Hi, Would these bleed through a coloring book if you used them without the water? Or even with the water? Could you please test both with and without the water? Thanks.😊
Yep I talked about this in the description. Because these are water based India inks they aren’t prone to bleeding. They should be the same as Faber castell Pitt pens. If they don’t bleed these should not either.
Thank you for reviewing these. I just ordered the same set. I love your close-ups. They really help me to see the subject!

Aww thank you so much for your kind words.
Good demo! I liked your use of the water pen. Good to see the colors in this set. Just got set #2 and need to swatch them.

Wow! Well I hope you get settled down soon! These pigments settle to the bottom shake well before use. ❤️😍😍

Thank you for your review of these Karia....I have the watercolors and really like them. I need to try these!
You should! They are different but still fun! Just make sure to wash your brush out right away or it’ll stain! LOL

LOL that’s too funny!
Can I use this ink in fountain pens ✒️?
How is the cleaning process and is there any leftover ink once used again in a later time? Do you recommend a brush for each ink?
Honestly I just used a paper or disposable palette and use it until it’s too messy and then toss it so I don’t know.
It cant be reactivated and its very hard to get off out things, you have to use rubbing alcohol
The red and magenta look similar on camera.
They aren’t that similar in real life.
Make Chapter 2!
Chapter 2 list: Golden Yellow, Orange, Tangerine, Crimson, Cherry Red, Red Violet, Turquoise, Aqua, Yellow Ochre, Terracotta, Van Dyke Brown, Sepia.
Can we use these ink on fountain pens fine tip ?
That I don’t know!

Very cool. Sorry about your eyes. Blueberries help heal eyes, as well as melatonin, which helps you sleep too. Happy October, :-)
It’s a neurological birth defect. But I do love blue berries.
How the hell did this video get any dislikes
