We can relate to feeling thankful for calm conditions. We crossed the western end of Lake Erie from the Detroit River to South Bass Island. On the way there we had 2-3 footers. Which doesn't sound like much but after an hour and a half, it gets fatiguing. But on the way home, the lake was probably as calm as it gets.
Completely unintentional. The weather conditions produced it more than anything. That was a super low cloud cover that day. It was good for filming though. Thanks for watching and engaging with the content!

Yeah that’s a long time to ride those up and down. You probably felt that all night long!
Another great anchorage near there is the Wye River. Shaw Bay has great protection and scenery. Can get busy but early fall is great there.
