It's awesome how you take different weapons and stratagems and play them how they are supposed to be played. So many others rip on some weapons and what not, yet you play them how they are supposed to be played and absolutely slay. It really brings out the diversity of how much this game has to offer. Guard dog is better versus bots and only if you can get the resupply every time as soon as it’s off cooldown. Otherwise it’s ammo dries out and your stuck with a decoration

The guard dog needs a small change. Just let it get ammo when we get the ammo pack on the ground. Just this small change!

@@tulipchild would be better to have infinite ammo and have to return to your back to change mags like it already does to keep from power creeping the rover. Rover never overheats so infinite ammo for the guard dog would be on par.

00:46 clearly shows why guard dog is ultimately useless as it shoots at fodder while youre getting attacked. shield would have saved you 100% of the time. good vid tho

I honestly prefer this machine gun drone to the laser one. Less friendly fire incidents in my experience 😅

That was always my preferred puppy I just struggle with the limited ammo and stratagem slot loss. Glad the slugger is seeing some use too, that primary carried me for a while.

Punisher is a very solid shotgun, good damage and amazing stagger. Unless there is truly a great horde of bugs, it will keep them of you and you can load and shoot almost without delay. All in all shotguns are a strong option in this game.

Thanks for the showcase, I can see it really is not doing jack. 70% of the footage shows it failing to aid and provide proper fire support for you in the heat of combat, it feels like players are helping the guard dog shoot it's targets instead. You are better off with the laser one or a sentry stratagem!

It’s really weird because half of the time it looks glitched like it’s not doing anything and the other half of the time it’ll get a quad kill in half a second. I feel like this gets more overall kills then the guard dog rover but that’s difficult to find out for sure

It barely ever damages yourself or teammates. I find it also _does_ get more kills for the whole match because it punches harder and kills the enemies faster.

I found it packs a harder punch and kills bugs much faster then the rover but the downside to it is it has to reload and the limited ammo (usually enough before your weapons run out and need a supply drop)

That’s true with it hitting you and teammates much less but when it does it chunks you for a lot of health

That's why it's good to pair it with a primary that can kill armored units fast so it doesn't waste any

@@Background_Gaming. Even then, by the time you're able to kill a single charger it will dump its entire mag into it. That's the sole reason why it sucks.

I just want a Guard Dog with either a Dominator, Scorcher, Sickle or a Breaker attached to it lol, Dominator would be dope tho, it fires and it gets launched back 2-3 meters lol
