Drake messed up by not contributing g to the communities he was leeching g off of. It's nothing wrong with Using people as long as y9u allow 6ou4self to be used as well. If he had just been vocal on any Black Issues. If we seen him in Atlanta doing stuff for not just the rap community but the community in General a lot of the stuff Dot said would look into of been so damaging to his rep.

Everyone on stage is Kendricks friend, he did this in Inglewood, had a legend get on stage and kick off the 6x dance on drakes grave, everything about this was to show Drake that all that faking he does will never amount to something as real as this was. Drake isn't from a community, doesn't have life long friends who support him without being on the payroll and nothing about him is genuine

the reason the Banr thing works is so unbelievably powerful in the context of Drake
Because i n this movie, Batman is an identity that Bruce adopts, its darkness that he was afraid of and embraced, but it wasnt apart of him, he just used it.
But Bane was quite literally forged in it. Kendrick _knows_ theses grounds, he _knows_ these rules, and it doesnt take a lot for him to let evryone know he does
And Drake proves over and over that he only adopted the dark. Hes been using nightvision the whole time guys, once you knock them goggles off, hes blind
What happens to Drake, when you take away his utility belt? His coms are cut, he cant call on any help, whats he gonna do?
Nothing. Unlike Batman, under the mask, Drake isnt Bruce Wayne, hes just Aubrey Graham

I disagree with the idea that hip-hop culture ONLY means poverty and crime. There are many people that are OF the culture that grew up in nice two parent middle class homes.
Drake's problem is that he violates the #1 tenet of hip-hop culture.. authenticity. I'm NOT talking about him living the life he raps about. If that's the criteria, almost every rapper would be disqualified.
His violation is that he's TOTALLY removed from every aspect of the culture. He's not rapping about situations from his neighborhood, or even people he knows. He's not rapping about 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd hand accounts of anything. He's taking stories of other people and then presenting it as his own. You can rap about Johnnie down the street.. but not if you never met Johnnie or even worse, Johnnie lives in another country.. then you claim that Johnnie is your homie and you were there.. Rappers are free to be artists and tell tales but if that's the case, let it be from your creative mind.. so many layers to his many violations lol

Godfrey was born in Lincoln Nebraska then grew up in Chicago. he was born in the late 60's...he's of Nigerian descent but he is American and was born before and at the Birth of Hip hop. sooooo. In the 60's there was an almost non existent African Community in the country , Not like today, especially in the midwest so most likely he identifies more closely with AA culture because that was he grew up around.
