What's next? Soup? Badgers? Or maybe concrete. So, a couple of 16" steels and 195/45 tyres were sacrificed and we attempted to do create and then do a big dirty burnout on concrete tyres. Getting concrete into the cavity where air is meant to be turned out not to be so easy! This one was Project Managed by Stuart, so it was all about action first and consideration later. We managed it! Not sure about Kenny's cement mixing skills though!
Once the concrete had set in the tyres, we got them fitted (just) and Ren & Jeek went for a little test drive - horrible! The car felt like it had no suspension, the BC coilovers fitted to this car got a terrible time. Ren went for a test drift - WOW! It felt like the car was on ice, but with an elephant sitting in the back of the car too. Check out the tyre marks on the track, the most unbalanced tyre was leaving dashed tread as it bounced off the tarmac! In the water filled tyres Ren did the burnout, so this time it's Jeek on burnout duty!
Concrete tyres are BRILLIANT for burnouts! But TERRIBLE for the welfare of the red baron! Check out what happened....
