Saved by Faith Alone?

Faith alone in Jesus’ blood atonement on the cross = salvation (Romans 3:25 KJV).
Faith in Jesus PLUS any of your good works (baptism, religion, church, charity, etc.) = Hell (because you are trusting in a man instead of God).
The Bible is very clear that faith in Christ alone justifies you before God (Galatians 2:16 KJV). Good works might justify you before your fellow man (James 2), but God sees the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). Please don’t trust in anything for salvation besides Jesus Christ alone! “It is finished” were the very last words of Jesus before his death on the cross. You cannot add to what he has already accomplished. To try to do so with your own efforts is a terrible insult to God and will wind you up in Hell for trusting in yourself. You cannot “earn” Heaven, it is a free gift to be received by faith alone.

God required the cooperation of prophets, kings, servants and peoples in the OT so it makes perfect sense that God would make us His helpers in the Salvation of humanity. Jesus selected His 12 apostles for a reason: to work. St Augustine wrote: "God needs men to save men", furthermore we will all be judged by our works. So works are most definitely needed.

it talks about Jesus Redemption who save us from sins by his Grace
the only thing to be save from sins is to have faith in him
we cannot save ourselves from sins by doing own good works because we are not Saviours
but this Grace which Jesus Give Us during Crucifixion we might still Loose that grace which we recieved by living a sinful life and committing sins...

The ONLY place where Faith Alone exists is in the Bible...BUT, in James 2:14-24; (24) You MUST perceive that a person is JUSTIFIED by his works and NOT BY FAITH ALONE. Phil.2:12-13; "Work out your Salvation with fear and trembling"...Mt.7:13-14, 21-23, 12:36-37...just some readings of many references. "ONCE SAVED! ALWAYS SAVED IS ONE OF MARTIN LUTHER'S MANY WRONGFUL DOCTRINES"

Paul could not have made it more clear. We are saved by faith, not works. I honestly don't understand why Catholics can't seem to comprehend that we are saved by faith FOR good works, not BY good wirks. So yes, if you are saved by your faith, the works will follow from your heart. But be careful not to become a fruit inspector of other people's works. We are all sinners even after we are saved. So if you see someone sinning, you can't assume they are not saved. Also, it's important to understand that the works Paul talks about are not Catholic, sacraments and rituals and rules. They are caring for widows and orphans.

The Scriptures say we are saved by grace but we need to cooperate with that grace. James says faith without works (of love) is dead and Paul says Faith without works (of love) cannot save. He never said "faith alone" in Romans 3:28 as Martin Luther added the word "alone." Matthew 25 clearly shows the need for works of love, not works of the law. You can benefit by reading about the sheep and the goats in Matt 25. That is traditional scripture and Catholic Church teaching. God bless.
