There's a difference between self-sacrifice and service. Service is the ultimate self-service because it's an energy exchange that benefits you both. Self-sacrifice that sucks you dry is a selfish act because you're trying to help people out of your selfish desires (e.g. needing to be needed or validated). You're not actually helping people but just putting your desires above your personal wellbeing.

A spouse is suppose to help, support you, encourage, etc. But when I achieved success, jealousy was so huge, he abused me, I guess thinking that wuld discourage me, but it did not. But, again I'm saying, if I had the proper support, I could have gone much further. It's not just stepping up to the plate on your own, but getting the negative things, people out of your life, that could take time. I like your comment, very down-to-earth, from a very smart man.

Riding a jet ski is short term, thinking about how you really want to live your life outside expectation and material possessions is happiness. You can love making money and you cater your whole life to making money but in the end of your life that money will not show up in your coffin. How do you really want to look back on your life when you are on your death bed, that is the question we have to ask ourselves.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

She lived their teachings and passed it on to her kids through Wayne Dyer in the 80s when one day she called to say "turn on PBS". It was Wayne talking about his latest "The Power of Intention". He quoted Earl, Neville, all of the master teachers who for the most part repeated the same messages including Jesus who said, often word for word, what Buddah had said 500 years previously . My parents stopped talking to me when I made my 1st million in a year. I never bragged or anything close to that. I’m very humble. Mom finally called 4 years later when my wife sent divorce papers. Now my money was a huge deal. I was broken and didn’t want divorce. 2 boys 3-5 in 2006 I gave her everything she wanted. We had nine cars three are in the business. She did not accept the business and gave it to me. I was also working 530 to 4 AM for 10 years in a Ford motor assembly plant building F series trucks. She took the Mercedes-Benz 420 Pay for all of our cars were paid for actually brand new 05 Lincoln navigator fully loaded off the showroom floor. I kept an escort 05 F150 and my dream car 1987 all white Porsche 911 Carrera with the tail I had three homes, two were purchased before we got married but she still got half of the equity from the time we got married to the divorce so I had to sell one of them and give her 250,000 in cash upfront and I paid her 1400 a month for five years for spousal support And I paid 1400 a month for my boys. I didn’t care about the furniture, but we did have a $9000 sofa absolutely stunning seafoam, green, Italian leather. She had 30,000 in jewelry and when I was finally able to go into the house to get my things my Mavado watch was missing out of my watch collection and two nice size gold chains. I can always make money. I was just so hurt, but my mom didn’t think it was right because I worked too jobs all the time, I didn’t need to. Bought her yes I didn’t learn languages until a year later and she wanted quality time. Just thought I’d share.

I hope this helps whoever reads it. I followed this for 30 days. My goal was to change my self image and it worked. This is what I did.
    1. Write out a statement of your Short Term Goal AND your Chief Aim/Main Goal... on a "goal card" or paper.
    2. Write it out 50 times a day for 30 days preferably around the same time each day. After the 30 days, you go back and write it out ONCE a day. This is your compass in life.
    3. Set your phone alarm to go off every 3 hours (to disrupt your daily routine) and when it goes off write down your statement and then close your eyes and see yourself with your goal for 2 mins.
    4. Record your statement in your voice on a voice recorder on your phone, and play it back to yourself on loop while you sleep and as often as you can daily, example... in the shower or when you are using the rest room.
    5. Find an accountability partner. If you cannot find someone, then you MUST write out your statement DAILY. By doing this you make yourself accountable to YOURSELF.
    6. Find a community or FB group/group chat, etc and from that community form a Mastermind with one or two people who have studied from REAL Mentors and are giving VALUE. There is a "Law of Giving" and many people are using it. Andrew Carnegie told Napoleon Hill this back in the early 1900s. Its a LAW and it works. Its what I am doing with this post.
    7. Auto-Suggest (Think and Grow Rich Chapter 4) to yourself in front of the mirror in the bathroom at least twice a day. Look directly INTO your eyes OR one eye and recite your WRITTEN statement. Then splash cold water on your face. This sudden shock seals the thought into the subconscious due to emotional and physical shock from the cold water.
    8. Write out ten "I AM" statements a day. example. I AM happy, I AM more confident. Use the word MORE; implying you already have it, but want more. You trick the brain.
    9. Write out 5 things you HAVE that you are grateful for and 5 things that you are grateful for that are coming to you. Mix up the list one after the other.
    10. When in public tell people you see that you love them in your mind. Simply say "I LOVE YOU" to them as you pass them, especially when driving, because their subconscious hears and FEELS the intention. Say it to about 10 to 15 people daily. This increases your Good Karma.
I hope this helps at least two people.
It might seem like a lot. But it took me less than two weeks to incorporate the list into my life and 32 days later I started getting massive results.
Thank you for reading. I hope this is of value to you.

Every other job I tried failed because I didn't have enough money to sort problems.
