Jane Clayton as " Sue ' later shortend her first name to ' Jan ' and played ' Ellen Miller ' on T.V.'s " Jeff's Collie " ('Lassie ) from 1954-1957 with George Cleveland ('Gramps') and Tommy Retig ('Jeff Miller' ). She was briefly married to Russell Hayden whom played 'Lucky Jenkins ' in several Hopalong films including this one.

Except for Evelyn Venable who refused to kiss in any episode the later episodes had lucky and the single “prospective “ lady’s kissing before any future marriage proposal which I’m very sorry about. B/C the children saw a very uncommon Hopalong! Evelyn Venable was very Right in refusing to do those more intimate personal relationship with Lucky that won’t continue in future episodes!
