This IP phone has aged well and I think at this point most all the major providers now support it and some, like RingCentral, still carry it actually in stock.
I just picked up a used T48S however the HD logo on the handset is towards the bottom instead of near the top like the one you have. Is the handset I got from an older/newer generation of T48S or from a different model altogether? Even so, they're fully compatible, correct? It seems to fit on the base fine, but will test it tomorrow. Thanks!!
YES when I say some providers may not support it, I mean they literally may not be able to provision it to their platform fully. I've seen instances (with other IP phone models as well) where YES they can get a dialtone to it, but not all the features work like transfer or conference, etc. Let me know if that answers your question. 😊

Nice review. Thanks.
Intermedia, Ooma, Ring Central, etc. all have this phone. I've seen it from $178 all the way up to $299.

You say not supported. Do you just mean that no touch provisioning won't work because SIP is SIP no matter what phone you have?
