    Building with this board and it's many miles away with a relative right now, so this was super helpful

    Wish this board came with more accessories.
    Thanks for uploading this though! I bought this board a couple weeks ago, and it didn't come with the antennas. (the whole top box was missing), but I wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything else, as the website doesn't go deep into what comes in the box...

    I was going to install a Gen 5 m.2 on this board, but it reduces the PCIe lines for the graphic card from x16 to x8. So I guess better to use a gen4 for everything like gaming and rendering, and gen5 just for direct storage apps.

      @@DavidPerez-co That's only true if you're running 8000 series AM5 Ryzen processors. If you're running 9000 or 7000 series that's not the case. All slots run at full speed

      @qcsbuilds5708 In my case I'm installing an R9 7950x, and an RTX 4080 16gb, so it will work both ports Gen 5 and with all the PCIe lanes on both?

    • @qcsbuilds5708
      @qcsbuilds5708  5 дней назад +1

      @DavidPerez-co only PCIE slot 2 shares lanes with m.2 slot 2 and m.2 slot 3 shares lanes with two of the SATA ports. With a 7950X, m.2 slot 1 and PCIE slot 1 are Gen 5 with all lanes active.

    Hello
    Im going to be building next week with this board.
    I have 4 x regular sata ssds and 2 pcie 4.0 nv me m.2. SSDs
    Which M2 slots should I put the m.2 ssds in please
    Also I have X2 32 gig sticks of ram. I'm presuming they go in ram slots 2 and 4 ??
    Many thanks in advance

      @@stevenneill6605 You're going to want to use m.2 slots one and two. Because if you're going to use for SATA SSDs your slot 3 is going to be disabled down to two lanes Gen 3
