Lyrics:
I’ve seen it many times before
They always seem to get away
Down the stairs you closed the door
In the limelight no you couldn’t stay
Who would write that grand design
Where falling stars run out of time
And leave us all behind
Tell me why
Tell me why do birds suddenly
Disappear instead of singing here
Oh what are we to do
No we can’t believe it’s true
We’re so far from you
I listen to the radio
Hold my breath to hear you sing
Far away and so long ago
But without you I lose the beat
Oh who would write that grand design
That pushed blinding stars into your eyes?
Oh the radio is still alive
Oh tell me why
So far from you
I hang on every word
So far from you
I sing and your voice it returns
So far from you
And the sound is the most beautiful that I’ve heard
Oh tell me why

Why this wonderful talent hasn't caught more attention is a real shame Her writing is so sincere and beautiful.
I could listen to this forever 💛🌻
It's hard for me to explain, but there are so many female artists out there who have the same "style" of singing voice. It can get really annoying. But Natalie's voice is very distinct and refreshing!
Don't you wish she was popular instead of shitter swift?
Their is nobody like her. Simply refreshing. Karen Carpenter would be proud
A mention in today’s L.A. Times brought me here- lovely!
Very very beautiful...
What happened to her?! I can't find any news about her since 2018.
Im in love with this women
Impossibly sad AND moving.
Ugh so beautiful :')
Beautiful song. Saludos! 🇲🇽
Great gig in the Pink Room at Manchester. The new backing band are also stonking.
Me mata toda vez
I could be wrong, but almost like a modern day Karen Carpenter??
You are right on the money. I'll link a video below that won't show up untill the video owner approves it. But in the video she talks about writing this song for Karen Carpenter, and what an influence she's been for Natalie

This song is literally about her haha
@@MJ-vd8bj sorry, did'nt realize that.
