What a venue , what a log , what saws ! Just perfect . On my way to a training course in central London and this has cheered me right up . Loving the details and character of the two saws . I’d pick the 572 just because I’m old school plus I’ve not run a 500 ( I’m sure that may change 😁) Brilliant vid . More please
Very much enjoyed the way you got that log on the ground. Very calm and safe. Nice one! Also I do feel like the 572 seems a touch quicker if you let it do it's thing. Very interesting! I can't wait for the race! Thanks buddy!
The 572 seemed to run stronger off idle & as is came up to speed in the cut. More torque. Husky has a reputation for needing fewer parts over time for a lot of people too.
Interesting that came across on the video. The 500i is by far the torquier saw though, 572 is waaay peakier but if you keep the revs up the cut speed is very close.
It definitely cuts faster than round and keeps an edge well. If you can get a good deal on it then it's worth it I'd say.. but factor in the price of the file as well. I got it free with the 500i. I'm still on the fence about whether I'd buy more, as it's not as fast as square.

Wahay, docs in the house! Happy Sunday man!
@@walkerscountrylife You as well, have a good one JW, drink one for me🍺
What a perfect log set up 😅
I'd be taking the 500i.
Good morning mate! Yeah it's not bad!
Good technique laying it down 👍
@@rakersdownnz thankyou 🙏

You are right you would be happy if you owned either saw. I have a WCS filter for my 462, nice to see you cutting James.
Does that filter need a different cover, or fits under the standard? Thanks, hope you did too!
Fits under the original cover. @@walkerscountrylife
@@patrickvennard838 ah great
Yeah James, I wouldn't throw either of those 2 off the back of my pick up...
Neither would get kicked out of bed for farting would they!

Oh yes definitely agree on that one!

seems pretty clear to me that the 500i is the superior saw there but i still want a 572 someday haha
The next video might surprise you then buddy!!
@@walkerscountrylife enter the 462 👀
@@elemental4rce yesssss... The 462.. the perennial elephant in the room!
Dammmm that’s some nice ash! What a beautiful spot too! I broke the 6lb gilpin handle before I put pics up lol😂
If you want some for a handle... Think Owen has his eye on some too!
@@walkerscountrylife mate I’d love some for handles, thank you 🙏 All the ash I had access to is for the burner now 🤙🤙
@@tbruce-sawsandsplitting come n get it!!
@@walkerscountrylife 🥳🥳 might have some time in the week but when suits you?
@@walkerscountrylife could bring the mill and slab it there even?
We can't get hexa in the states very easily. Worth it? Or more hype than utility?

I think the 572xp is not bad
I agree!
i would leave the stihl in the truck as back up , and take the 572 to do the work, thanks boss
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it
