In Stranger Things when he’s ‘alone’ shirtless having a smoke on the porch, I was impressed that he didn’t suck his gut in. Most actors would pose like they’re doing a fashion shoot, so props to him for sticking with the realism!
Lumibear He said in another interview that he thought about working out before to get in shape but wanted to give Hopper realness because he has lost his daughter and wouldn’t care about his appearances because he was still grieving.
That is one of my favorite parts about him! He totally channels a time when film/TV heroes didn't need to have jacked up muscles to be cool (or handsome to some). Harbour definitely belongs in the realms of Roy Scheider and Harrison Ford.
