Dianne - NEVER worry about your vlogs being too long! We love them. Glad you had a lovely time in Rye. Have you visited Alfriston? It's also very pretty.
I've often thought about mentioning wasgij especially the strictly one as I feel they are right up Joe's street !!! So happy when I saw him doing one. I'm afraid though wasgij's are highly addictive and I've done absolutely loads !!!! In fact I went through my cupboard and I need to get rid of some because I'm too obsessed and they are taking up too much room lol. I'm behind on your blogs so hopefully we see the progress of the puzzle in either yours or Joe's vlog. Love you guys and can't wait for the Aussie vlogs. You have a gorgeous family both of you. ❤ Xxx
What a lovely vlog. You’re a wonderful person Dianne. Feel inspired to go to Rye when we visit the south later the year. Getting very excited for pro tour, watching you dance live is very special ❤❤❤
yay been looking forward to this vlog for so long! you really are on the vlogging grind at the moment, nothing better than watching one of your vlogs ❤
I honestly get so much joy watching ur vlogs, this was such a good one 🥰 I need them peanut butter jars in my life, sounded delicious 😋 hope uve had a fab weekend 💕xx
another great vlog. The puzzle at the end the wasjig one is one of a few i havent done. love those puzzles, a good tip is to not rely on the picture on the front as when the puzzle is done the pictures will look slightly different.
Love watching all your videos!! Not normally one to comment very often at all, more of a silent viewer, however i wanted to help.. Regarding your recipe for the cookies that your screenshotted - I don't know about Apple but Samsung phones will let you swipe up on photos that are 'screenshots' from websites and it will have either the url that you can then click on or a button to take you to the website. Hope this helps you or someone else that stumbles across this! From a little New Zealander (Kiwi) viewer and fellow dancer
Awww, I don’t do any other social media but make you could make the recipe a short/reels on here? Dianne, I made butter mochi cake from a recent Château Diaries vlog, made with coconut cream & blitzed sweetcorn & it was absolutely gorgeous. It’s from the far east & knocks flat all our UK cakes, seriously. Still making your mum’s blinis (naan bread originally) & love them - sr flour/greek yog (equal amounts, I do 4 heaped tablespoons of each), pinch or two of salt & either dried herbs or spice of choice, form lightly into little patties about the size of half a scone (no kneading) adjusting either yog or flour as necessary & dry fry each side on low heat until middle is cooked. Or no herbs/spices then can have with butter, jam & cream ❤ My amount makes 6 & fills most of the frying pan, or can do 2 lots of 3 & turning will be easier xx
Rye must be one of the loveliest little towns in England. E.F. Benson's Mapp and Lucia books are set in "Tilling", which is really Rye. He lived there.
Did you get a chance to visit Rye Pottery? Its got tiles and kitchenware. Has been part of my family for generations when it got taken over by my great grandfather
Dianne the filter on the washing machine might need cleaning? It's usually at the front bottom corner behind a flap.that's what happened to mine anyway. I cleaned it myself watched a U tube video on it
There’s still hope that you might be on the jigsaw! A wasgij (jigsaw in reverse) means the puzzle is the reaction/reverse of the scene on the box. So here, the puzzle will be what the audience are reacting to… the dancers (presumably!) 😊 so you’ll need to look our for red pieces of jigsaw as you could be in it! 🥰 x 17:07
Regarding the jigsaw... You may have worked this out by now... Wasgij ('jigsaw' spelt backwards) is a brand/type of puzzle where they print the original picture on the front of the box, but the actual puzzle itself that you complete is from one of the characters points of view 😀
Think you might need to check the rules of that jigsaw! Have done a wasgij before and it’s the opposite view of what is pictured is what you have to make. You are basically doing a jigsaw blind so you have to imagine what all the people in the picture are looking at! Hope that helps
A suggestion..of course Dianne does second hand/flee market shopping 👍 but since you both have enough money you could look into ethical brands and sites instead of buying Zara, New look etc fast fashion brands that doesn’t pay a living wage for their workers, quality of the clothes isn’t that good or the working conditions..overusing forests and weak cotton and fabrics etc.
Actually they're not. Think about where they are in the supermarket when you buy them. Fridge companies have made you think that by the little trays they put in the fridge, but studies show they should be at room temperature for longer life. Plus they also cook better from room temperature than cold
Depends on which part of the world you live. The USA is the odd one out, they ‘process’ fresh eggs by washing them in chemical heated water, therefore eggs need to be refrigerated (the ‘cleaning’ process damages the natural protective coating of the shell, which means it’s open to going off if not refrigerated). The rest of the world pretty much doesn’t do that ‘industrial’ process, the egg might look a bit dirtier, but the coating of the shell hasn’t been damaged, therefore it lasts out of the fridge, just store them in a cool dry place. The US also ‘processes’ raw chicken in chlorinated water, just about all US food has been way over processed. Cheers,
@@Jennifer-5 They are where I live in the US. Perhaps it depends on where you live, but in the US, they're displayed in a see-through fridge/freezer or displayed in the colder area of the supermarket. And health authorities advise us to only leave them out for 2 hours before throwing them away due to risk of food poisoning. But it seems different countries have different ways of selling and storing eggs.

No they shouldn’t. I never keep my eggs in the fridge. They are in a ceramic egg holder
Whatever happened to the chickpea cookies?
Cute egg holder, but don't eggs have to be stored in the fridge to prevent food poisoning?
No I’ve never have done anyway.
No they don’t need to go in a fridge
There not in the fridge in the supermarket so why would they go in the fridge at home

That must have been a long drive! Rye is far from a lot of places
My washing machine was doing this a couple of weeks ago… I gave up and just bought a new one 😂
My freezer started leaking then filled up the bottom drawer with ice & now the second one. My top freezer drawer is still functional 🥴
This might be a stupid question, but why are the eggs not in the fridge?😂
Time will catch you out Rina . . . . .
This is a series made in Rye, shows you it in lovely aspects. Mapp and Lucia..ruclips.net/video/xflSIzTYhFo/видео.html
Samsung appliances are known for flooding and malfunctioning. 😢
Eggs should be stored with the pointy end down 🐣
Why?
