It's been awhile I have played this game. And this time I got chance to record and post here. I haven't play ID3 up to fullest, but I can play it on PSP.
Go to Garage「ガレージ」, Find tuning menu「チューニング」,that on top menu. There are 2 menus, left is tune up,while right is cosmetic(bodykit). Tuneup is recommended. There are 5 tuneup steps, you need 5 tuneup cards to do that, then go to cosmetic. If you complete all tune up and cosmetic, there will be a message you have completed tune course. You can change few parts of cosmetic one.
Make sure you got the cards that match for the body upgrade you pick when choose the new cars. GC8V Bunta is the only car that has no cosmetic upgrades.
lose in races, restarting doesnt work though, so you have to get through the whole race. If youre on an emulator save on the screen when it asks you to continue so you can reload the savestate if you don't get it.
no. i tried everything i could think of. even using emolatur. i did manage 60 fps but once i started racing, it dropped to 30 and below. i guess its because its an old game. it did come out in 2006.
You can play online too. Just need the adhoc server. Host will open the adhoc server. The host needs to either port forward the adhoc server port or use a VPN like hamachi. The host and the other player need to put the ip of the host in the psp network settings tab. This is one of the only games I netplay on psp along with tekken 5 and 6. But there are a decent amount of games that are able to be played through netplay on psp. Some work but desync eventually
