@@TerryBenton,you sad lonely man. Quit wasting people's time on floridaguntrader. You racist pos. Calling others poor ni***rs because they want to sell their items.
I own a 2020 Python and a 2021 Anaconda. I did a slight amount of extra polishing on the internals so both guns have a 3.5 pound SA and a 7 to 8 pound DA pull, and that trigger is just about perfect. The DA on the new Python - Anaconda is so nice. The old Python you pulled the trigger with the DA stacking, now you slide the trigger on the new Python with it being so smooth and no stacking. I hope someday Colt offers an optional target style hammer (like S&W does with the 686 models), so you can have the wider beaver tail style head on the New Python hammer to match the original.
@@smithn.wesson495 i wish they had a hammer similar to the old ones also. It is my only complaint about the new ones. That is super cool about the internal polishing. I cannot imagine how smooth it is as compared to how good ot already is. Thanks for sharing
I will say that the New production Anaconda was my first .44 magnum I was considering getting, however as a working stiff 1500 dollars is a lot of money so my compromised was the Ruger Super BlackHawk and later added the 50th anniversary BlackHawk as well. My one big hope though is that colt will bring out the Anaconda or bring out a retro style revolver chambered in 45 colt. I personally feel that double actions in 45 colt are kinda lacking The only ones we currently have are Smith & Wesson model 25, the Ruger Redhawk which of course can accommodate both 45 colt/and acp, and the Smith and Wesson Governor and Taurus judge
@ADRay1999 Ruger makes an excellent revolver. They are over built for strength similar to the Anaconda. 45LC would be cool in the Anaconda like the old days
I have both a new and old python and I totally agree with you on the DA being better on the new one than the old one! However, no matter how many newer Colt Pythons I handled, the SA just doesn't have that satisfying strong crack like a glass rod breaking when you pull it back! I can assume part of that was not just the older style parts, but the hand fitting that came along with it!
SMOOTH all the way through with the newer Colt triggers, yes - but I would personally say that there's a slight buildup (not necessarily stacking) right before they break... At least it's like this with my Cobra 🐍, I've found.
I would love to see a weight difference between the new 4.25 python and anaconda. Some sites say they both are 42oz. I would think the anaconda would be heavier
I just got my 2024 kodiac yesterday and I couldn't be more impressed. It's perfect!
That Kodiak is a badass gun. Congratulations
@TerryBenton I don't have a video up on it yet but I do have some pictures of it up on my community tab

They are pretty smooth. Noting is perfect, but they did a fantastic job in designing those actions. Tha KS you for watching
