if anyone's wondering why he sometimes doesn't beat the devil out of the brush, it's because Bob Ross beat most of the devils out of brushes in his time, and so it is rare to find a devil in your brush.

This guy is perfect. He has a calm positive vibe around him. He isn't Bob, that voice of Bob's just instantly relaxed me. But Nic doesn't need too. I'm loving his version. A few call backs to our memories of Bob, but keeping it largely his own. I'm just as enraptured and enjoy this, but in a totally different way.

I like this new series, Nic has his own way of talking, his own funny little things, but still making us feel like we're watching Bob Ross. It shows that even he decides what colors to use during painting, that he doesn't have a detailed plan how to achieve an exact copy of Ross painting, but rather goes with the flow and make us excited to try painting too to see what our imagination will lead us to.

I find Nic’s voice as comforting as Bob’s. Nic is very talented, and Bob would be proud of him. After a hard day, especially when I don’t want to hear anything more about the conditions in this world today, I am grateful to watch and to hear anything Bob and his protégées’ have painted. It’s good as he is his own artist, introducing a new generation to painting, but spreads the same message Bob did, that being the joy of painting, which is great ^^
It's the same feeling energy when someone really enjoys to show others something they enjoy doing.
I like the fact that he's only trying to keep Bob's painting approach alive, he's not "playing" his character.
The main thing that really made it waayyyy better is the fact that he didn't steal Bob's little phrases. He's doing his own thing. I can definitely see myself watching this guy in the future 👍

exactly, I really like how his main message seems to be: anyone can have fun with painting, it doesn't have to be perfect: you just need to enjoy it. I wish more people realized this about art. It's what Bob told us and now he is carrying on the message
He seems like a perfect replacement, he can paint pretty well, and he doesn’t try to act like bob Ross he’s his own person he also has a bit of that bob ross cheerfulness. The only thing I need him to do is bring in some animals

But his voice’s soothingness isn’t even close to Bob’s.
I thought that no one could do this like Bob, but this guy has been taught by the master himself and it shows in this. He's not trying to be Bob, but has his own style with Bob's presenting style and painting quirks mixed in. This is a great tribute to Bob and his legacy lives on for the next generation. If this show gets on to TV, I think this could be the new generation's very own Bob Ross ❤️

Bobs 1st episode was 9 days before my 8th birthday and I grew up watching him. Not only did I love everything about him but he was my generations ASMR. Bob and Mr.Rogers could put ANYONE to sleep.

I completely agree. His is doing a great job. He isnt exactly like bob but he is bringing his own excellent spring on to the canvas, while sharing Bob's enthusiasm and charm. I hope to see more of him in the future

Try William (Bill) Alexander's videos. He taught Bob this technique, and he has videos over an hour long with incredible description. Nobody really knows who he is but he was on TV for 12 yrs before Bob was. Plus he is funny. Quirky and loves to get intense. FIRE ON! 🔥

Bob actually designed the certification program when he was alive. It's a rigorous program, and I loved every minute of it. I'm a certified instructor in his methods, and I got certified by Nic (the guy who made this video)!

Glad I stumbled across this video. Always loved watching Bob Ross. Back in the late 80s I was lucky to work for a company that let us choose when we took our lunch breaks. I planned mine around when Bob Ross’s show was on. I’d drive home, make something to eat, sit down and enjoy my lunch while watching Bob! I am now retired and getting back into painting. I’m always happy to find videos that inspire and this one does just that! Thank you!
