I went to Skegness Butlins years ago when they still had the spa and they had the same issue back then with rides not being available and that was during the summer, they had a rocking tug back then, i dont know if it was the same one. They seem to have clapped out old rides, as for the new rides, i think that they have bought cheap rides from Zamperla which would not be a problem if they had chosen the right ones but it seems to me that they have bought rides that are not able to deal with the capacity that is needed and thats why they break down, they should have done their research and looked at what was available that could deal with heavy capacity they know how busy the park gets in the holidays.
For a park the size of Butlins Skegness they need a second swimming pool nearly all the Haven parks that are large such as Primrose Valley have more than one pool they have 3 plus a paddling pool.

That looks horrendous. If ever I needed a reason not to go to Butlins, that is it.
