Botton's Pleasure Beach Vlog 8th April 2017

- Join me and lisa as we head to sunny Skegness in Lincolnshire UK to check out Botton's Pleasure Beach for the first time
This is actually one of the very first parks I ever visited as I grown up just up the road and remember being brought here when I was very young, along with the Seal Sanctuary and the famous Butlin's just up the road and not forgetting Fantasy Island only a few miles away in Ingoldmells
We was only in the park a few hours but that was enough to get the 4 coasters, Ghost Train, Twister, Dodgems and the Giant Wheel with all day wristbands at a price of £16
I've liked the artwork skeg ghost train is now even better heard there are more special effects 2021 .I rang the pleasure beach up a while back I really like the artwork and things in the train it's very good my first ride 1978 5 years old at the time with my cousins.still got pictures of the train 1980 early 1980s mum allways took a picture for me with the old Kodak camera
I used to come to Skeggy on holiday back in the 80s. The ghost train used to have a naked mannequin in a sarcophagus that swung open and closed. We loved it, lol

Stuart Allen yeah I was born in Boston and lived in Alford till I was 3 then we moved to Morecambe in Lancashire where my parents are originally from ! I was taken to Mablethorpe when I was young to paddle in the pool
Been here a few times when we come to butlins love it they do an amaziing firework display later in the year its awesome

me and my wife was there from the 31st to the 3rd at butlins and went to bottons and fantasy as we love it in skeggy we went there to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and going agin in july /aug with the whole family for a yearly holiday as been going to skeggy now for over 24 years and we won`t go anywhere else lol and great video loved it

william cowhig yeh fantasy island rides are expensive . I didn't like the staff before mallows took over the old staff was rude. a man the other day was so help full but we didn't go on the rides I like to laugh when people are going around with big toys ie from the game stalls
A good thing to do on a day out in skegness is to go fantasy island for the day then when rides close there, have some dinner in town and then come to the fair and wristbands are a lot cheaper!
My mum always used to bring me and my sister here and the catapillar was my first coaster. Some good nostalgia there so thank you for uploading this. By the way; Rockin Roller was made by Fabbri:)

Network funday is in Wolverhampton you should definitely visit it it's real good from 11-6 pm at West Park!

Went here yesterday and In a shop window near the entrance was an animatronic from the tinkaboo sweet adventure ride at pleasure island

You should try riding the Rocking Roller on the night they set off the fireworks on the beach. In the dark, it's even more intense but really awesome to ride :)
I went in the summer, it was really fun

Lucy Moss Skegness was voted the worst seaside town in the U.K. recently and I can't see why as there are lots worse places including Morecambe where I'm from, that place is a shit hole 👎🏻👎🏻
Coaster Crazy I live a bus or train ride away I come to skegness even in bad weather I can't go on rides for medic all reasons but I love walking through here thinking of trying the restaurant at some point the sun castle is great to you should go if you have not been yet fantastic

Is the catapillar ride the same one from Camelot as it looks the same layout and theme?
I wonder if the new go-karts at FL will be a pay-per-ride, hopefully not. But it just dawned on me whilst you have to do the same at places like buttons even after you pay for a wristband...

Hannah Prosser it is the Pleasure Beach, it’s on the main seafront in Skegness
My dad works in th arcades there and other theme park too, so he can get us free on rides. Its not really very wheelchair accessible either.

eddie williams both of those parks are really far away from us and both really small, maybe more for young children but we will give them a visit later in the year

whats the difference between tokens and wrist bands
Sarah Joy Holden not a lot really but a wristband will get you on all the rides all day where as tokens will only last until you have used them all, normally like small coins you have to the ride operators per ride
