For dutch standards, these are huge!
I love this channel keep up the good work :)
Wow. This looks great. I’m going to make this right now because it is so easy to make. While I make this, I’m going to snack on my Leberwurst that just firmed up overnight. Thanks for another great video and I’ll let you know how it turns out! 👍
I'd never heard of this sausage. Thank you for the video and recipe. :-)
Yes yes yes.. We have it in South Africa.. Inherited from the Dutch..
Oh that's cool😁😁
Wow, did not expect you to do this Dutch one! Tip for extra authenticity; add a spoon of 'Buisman aroma' to your poaching liquid. It's kind of a cristallized form of molasses, which adds the specific dark color to the sausage as it infuses and browns better during frying. Normal molasses would work too probably as I'm sure you can't get it outside of the Netherlands. Keep up the good work! Cheers from Rotterdam.
Very good tip on the molasses. Thanks for the comment!!! I really liked this sausage..
Wel geinig dat hij hem helemaal zelf maakt
Ziet er wel best dik uit
Thx bro for all the lovely and tasty sausages videos your are showing us :)
Thank you!! I appreciate you watching!
Making this today!!
WOW do these ever taste good. I do have a request, can you show us how to make rookworst it too comes from the Netherlands
Looks great! Thanks for great content...
good vid dood!!!
Great video- can u please let me know the brand of the mixer u used to grind the meat? Thanks
Its a commercial food processor called the Robot Coupe (amzn.to/2DfdODB)
@@2guysandacooler thanks for yr reply - wondering if they hv something similar for a regular household kitchen- btw great videos
@@alwayspositive999 Not sure. They have a slightly smaller unit but that brand is designed for heavy use restaurant/commercial kitchen application. If someone got that for their home it would literally last a lifetime.. We have 2 and they are the best I've ever used!!
Here in Brussels we call them Fricadelles. You can find them litteraly at every corner of the street. Considered at the same time as comfort food and junk food, the legend says it's better not to know what's in there 😁😁😁
Was that a Robot Coupe mixer you emulsified the meat in? If so which model? Blixer 3?
I use 2 in my business. In this video I was using the R2 Ultra. In some of my other videos I use the 602vv. Both are great units!! The Blixer 3 is great as well. Robot coupe makes a heck of a product. Because we use it to dice and all sorts of other thing sin our business we chose the food processors but if someone was only using the box for chopping and mixing the blixer series is a great line.
@@2guysandacooler Thanks for the reply, yes looking for used Robot Coupe for home use for sausage making... pricey if you're not using for a business. But the alternative is a bulky buffalo chopper.
One question - how do I get one of those sweet branded chef jackets?!?
lol. I'll have to have some made.
What a fun sausage. I’m not buying the story of running out of curry catsup. Okay; I gotta ask, why the specific sausage length?
LOL... You know we have gallons in the back room!!!! I don't know why 20cm. It's a Dutch standard....
I disagree. Bitterballen is the most popular!!! Jk. Both are delicious.
My wife is from the NL and I think I will have to make this for her.
I can not find coppa #1 vedio.
Here you go. ruclips.net/video/vFfqwyxC_Zo/видео.html
These are way too big! Also speciaal is with ketchup. The curry ketchup is the newer version and not authentic. 🤷🏼♀️
