Hello Rabbi, long time, I understand what you're going for in the fast. It's like a groaning deep in your abdomen, it twists and pulls, and it's accompanied by longing and sorrow. If you launch deep enough into it, you'll get a release like Queen Esther did. I don't fast for this feeling, this is how I pray, but I've listened to people fasting and I know it's a special kind of prayer that most can't achieve without hunger. Rabbi, can I ask, do you think I'm an antisemite? The last attack on me, they trolled my feed with posts saying that antisemitism doesn't pay. I called you my brother so I don't understand their sentiment, maybe they're just driving division and trying to make us hate each other. Do me a favor and make clear that you are not my enemy if you are not my enemy. Peace and all good things to you.
