Just get a laguna rectangular tub 60 gallons on amazon. Decent price, and use a Sensodyne Toothpaste cap with plumber's tape to seal the hole. And use a 350 penguin marineland hob, and cut the plastic intake to decrease the length to filter properly.

Your Ranchus are very good quality because their back are beautifully curved like arch. Several years after, they will have a possibility to grow bumps of their face bigger. Is this kind of hobby popular in U.S.? I bought and kept some black colored babies, younger than a year, many years ago. It was very hard to bring them up.

I don't use a heater since its very warm in Miami and the very few times it was cold my fish were perfectly fine, i just didn't feed them high protein and less food during the cold days. If it gets really cold, a heater on hand would be a good idea

yes, i take them out of the kordon bags, place the fish in the bowl, and then add them to a fish bag. I then float them in the tank to acclimate them. I skipped that part in the video

I then transferred them into a different bag and float them in the water until the temperature acclimated and put them in a quarantine tank. They should never live in bowls
