How to visit Dharamshala?
Air: The nearest airport to Dharamshala is Gaggal airport in Kangra, located about 15 km. There are regular flights from Delhi every day.
By Road: The distance between Delhi and Dharamshala is over 475 km. There are frequent buses from Delhi to Dharamshala, and it takes about 8 to 9 hours. Apart from Delhi, major cities of Himachal are well connected to Dharamshala by road with regular buses.
Some people also plan from Dharamshala to Dalhousie or return from Dalhousie to Dharamshala to continue their Himachal trip. If that is the case, note that there are limited buses to Dalhousie from Dharamshala and return as well. There is one public bus that leaves at 7 AM in the morning and reaches Dalhousie at 11:30 AM. Depending on the season, the buses run.

By Train: The nearest railway station to Dharamshala is Pathankot, which is about 85 km. You can then take a cab or a bus to Dharamshala.

Time to visit?
Weather in Mcleodganj. Mcleodganj experiences extremely pleasant summers with the temperatures hovering around 25 degrees. The best time to visit Mcleodganj is during the months of September to June. It is best to avoid July and August due to the heavy rainfall Mcleodganj receives.

I am from district kangra Himachal Pradesh & Dharamshala Macleodganj only 59 to 60 km far from my home & I visit there in evry week maximum 2 times even today also I was visited there.

Hello, do your research first. They are chanting in Tibetan. Just dont assume things. Dharamsala is a hub for Tibetans because The Dalai Lama lives there and many tourists come visit Dharamsala to get a glimpse of him.

Terrible video, sorry. 1. get your facts right. Its tibetan not japanese, Its gyuto monastery and never marriages take place there. 2. camping at the rate of 10 000 Inr per night shouldnt be called camping. The tea garden is somewhere completly else then the lungta trek.

Cricket Stadium is located in Dharamshala, the nearest landmark is War Memorial. If you're coming by Bus or car, Ask anyone about the War memorial location it's very near to it.

Yup good u can visit Naddi and Dharamkot for snowfall but if u want to go for trek it's not wise choice cuz u can't go to Triund from dec to feb(depends upon whether)
