Wow, Dusty. How do you do it all? I am impressed. Teacher, coach, cabins, bison and other livestock...and I'm sure I'm leaving things out...You and your family are amazing...Love the channel. Thanks for your videos! God Bless!!
I stayed at cabin 8, the canoe, in March of this year and loved it, went fishing every day and grilled out at the cabin every night, I will be back in the fall for sure
That cabin you showed us was beautiful, yes please show more of your cabins, I knew right away what kind of bird that was, woodpecker they come to my bird feeder every day! Can't wait to see the baby bison!! :) take care all of you!!
Dusty I have been waiting to see the cabins again. I watched when Daniel first introduced us to them. I would absolutely love to see videos of the cabins and cabin life. Also it will be wonderful to see the baby calves. Always enjoy you and your family. Also I think it’s a woodpecker. God bless you! Jean from Arizona 🌴🌞🌻🦎🌵🦂🐍
Love the cabins. Love 💕 the knotty pine paneling. Not a cabin without knotty pine walls. My family bought a lake cabin in Idaho in the 1950’s. Dad remodeled it into a 3 bedroom year round home. He saved the original knotty pine walls and reused them as an accent wall. As you may know knotty pine gets prettier with age. I have great childhood memories of the 1950’s. Thanks for bringing the memories back. 🥰👶❤️
Well somehow my girlfriend and I must have missed the episodes showing the cabins. Anyway after seeing them we made reservations for next year. Glad to see that you are booked pretty full Looking forward to taking my girlfriend to Turner falls in the area. Love the bison. Wish we were younger to take on a task such as homesteading. So vicariously through you and the arms family enjoying that part of Oklahoma via RUclips
Cabins are beautiful! Enjoyed the entire video-- looks so peaceful...I’m in Texas in the snow storm all week. Highways are shut down- really a mess. Originally from the north- people down here don’t know how to drive in the stuff and no salt trucks! Makes you wonder where’s the money going? Also having rolling blackouts- governor is going to investigate why, as Texas has its own grid. Not connected to the rest of the country- wierd...Anyway, I’ve told roommate about Eleanor and now she’s watching. We’ve both have come to love Eleanor. You and your wife are sure blessed to have your health and have all this and your little girl is sweet..Thanks for posting.. When weather warms up, I’d like to visit. Thanks again.
Your passion is so fantastic = goof for you & your family - your kids are so lucky, when they are older they'll thoroughly love & enjoy the outdoors because of you - WTG
The cabins and bison are all part of the your life, so what ever you’re doing is good to see. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, so when you videos what is happening in your life, then we to travel and see different things. Your doing a good job on your videos.
Hey Dusty, I remember these cabins now Daniel brought us along when he was power washing them. You have a nice piece of land out there Dusty and cabin number 8 is absolutely gorgeous it's like an old-fashioned log cabin with a modern update. And 10 cabins are enough people want to get away and be by themselves but still have a close neighbor. Those cabins would make a nice little weekend getaway. I haven't been watching your channel very long but is there a difference between bison and buffalo I really don't know. If Eleanor has her calf are you going to do vlogs on her. So with that being said what's next for CTB--->Cross Timbers Bison😉 keep up the good work and see you in the next video🤔😊😉
ABSOLUTELY beautiful in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Y'all's cabins are calling our names! We will definitely be in touch! Can't wait. BTW y'all are doing a FANTASTIC job! Keep it up. We're lovin it!!!
I've been waiting to see the updates. I saw the cabins when Daniel's family helped clean them & I was one who had asked you about what was going on with them. Thank you for the update. Wish we lived closer. I would love to stay there.
I'm very impressed with you and your wife taking on such a massive but wonderfully ❤ beautiful 😍 project!!! The nice cascade of trees leading down to the waterside is absolutely Stunning!!! Those are some of the most well kept modernized cabins with everything that a person could possibly want for comforts away from home!! I am going to put the word out for ppl wanting to get away. Do you have fishing poles available? Does the state allow daily fishing permits for out of state folks? Thanks for taking us on the tour of your cabins as it was very enlightening to see a place that you can rent where the owners 😀 take great pride in their business 👍!! Dusty, you are a very humble but super busy man 👨 with a very supportive wife!! Looking forward 👌 to the update on Eleanor and the Bison!!
Someone let the calf out of the bag this morning. Eleanor had her baby!! I’m so excited to meet her! The cabins look great-maybe come sometime- I’m in middle Tennessee. But my family live in OKC. Thanks for sharing, Dusty! Hope your family is doing well and happy!
Good luck with them! I grew up in rural Pennsylvania, near Allegheny National Forrest, and our family spent many, many days camping, canoeing, swimming (in the creek and Clarion river) and having cookouts. It was the best way to grow up. No internet, no tv, no cell phones. Just family and fun. I wish you all the best with them!
My goodness! I'm going out of my mind. I'm an experienced tent camper of about 15 years and these cabins are a welcome sight. Our 60 anniversary is coming up in a year or two and maybe I can work something out. I need to do some research to make sure they are open in late February. Glad to see you are keeping us up on the Bison. I'm waiting on Eleanor to have that baby. This is getting to be REALLY exciting!
Its a year later and I am reading your comment about your 60th Anniversary. I hope you got to stay @the cabin to celebrate. Best Wishes to you for many more happy years 💝. These cabins are a far cry from the one my folks and I stayed in @ Old Faithful in Yellowstone in 1950. It was a tiny one room with a tiny potbelly stove.
Someone commented how do you do all of this. I don't think I could do all of these things bison cabins working children. Happiness is all over your face. Do love watching your bisons
I believe the cabins are a wonderful addition to you channel. Something we wanted to do when we had good health and were younger. Both of us are 73 years old now so will enjoy it through you. Thank you and God bless.
Loved this as much as the BISON Dusty the fireplace in that one cabin made me think of CABIN 1 up in Spooner WISCONSIN have gone to it since I was 11 yrs old haven't gone to a cabin for awhile now and miss it DEARLY!!!
I love your Buffalo & your cabins Dusty! What a great financial plan you've set up for your family Dusty I was raised up in Tuolumne County CA, NOR CAL, in the Sierra's close to Yosemite & I think I've explored every inch of it, especially Columbia CA, one of the 49er's historical towns (covered by the Park's Services, on the Mother Load Gold Trail of CA & my favorite place to live. Columbia is one of my favorite towns I was raised in Tuolumne County CA. If I ever get the chance to travel I'd love to visit your cabins & 'OUR WYOMING LIFE'S cabins on their cattle ranch. I'd love to do the Cross-country BBQ Trail on the way to your cabins & their cabins. I'll soon be 66 in September & have never been on a vacation. I think my vacation plans would make up for all that lol! I was just curious, are your cabins Disabled Accessible? I plan to take that trip before I kick the bucket lol!
Hi Dusty ,the cabin is awesome and beautiful. It do looks peaceful out there. You are a care taker for your lovely 👪 and those adorable bison . Keep up the 👍 work! I 💘 your channel and your 👪 too.
I love ❤️ Oklahoma so much… lived in Southern California for 20 years, now I’m back Illinois drove the interstate across country several times. In 2020/2021 during a long fight with breast cancer your videos were a wonderfully hopeful distraction. I’m going back to watch the older ones. Just decided to put visiting your cabins on my new bucket list! I have loved bison 🦬 since I first saw them in person grazing along side the interstate…
Bird could be a “ Green Woodpecker” 👍🥰🐾well I got the “ Woodpecker” bit right lol beautiful bird none the less. Love watching your videos, I’m in the UK and I love to see your gorgeous countryside 👍🥰🐾
What a lovely place, so inviting and peaceful. I can picture a big family reunion. We would have so much fun, visiting each other’s cabin, ,sitting by the fire @ night, barbeque for the whole gang..grilling fish caught in the lake.. Morning coffee on the deck, , watching the birds @the feeders. The elders are all crossed over now, , I am the elder now, but I can dream of the old days. Life goes by so quickly..so enjoy each day and each other. ❤️😎
Awesome!!!!!! Dusty you are on the right track!! Everyone should think about what the example this Family is giving you. To have your wife on board wanting you to do this is another awsome +! I too have rentals and yes they are a lot of work. But so rewarding! You are on your way to being wealthy by serving others! I’m very proud of you all. All viewers of this channel listen to each video. There are lessons to be learned here. This Nation of ours needs more people of this caliber. Sure you’ll get a spanking every now and then but that’s part of growing and learning. A failure is worth more than a success as long as you learn from it. Keep on keeping on Dusty and Family!
I LOVE the idea you are such a people person & you make all your videos interesting I think this could be a great idea as long as you get the right people

GO POKES!
Great and hopefully wonderful investment! Good luck!
That fireplace is really nice.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I love bison. This is a great channel. Please add cabin life. I'm in a city and enjoyed this video.
I really enjoyed seeing the cabins ! May GOD BLESS you and your family. Stay safe
I LOVE the idea you are such a people person & you make all your videos interesting I think this could be a great idea as long as you get the right people
You are nature’s gentleman Dusty love your vids, your style and your work. Next time I come over to the US I will definitely book a stay at your cabins. You deserve all success. Cheers from Oz.
Please do! Thank you!
I suggest a gift store with bison photos and lake photoes and cards. I love the wood also! I enjoyed this video very much.
You must thank Daniel at Arms Family Homestead. He talked about you and he was right I now have subscribed and put on the post notifications. Really look forward to many more videos. If I’m ever going your way I would love to stay in your cabins. Be safe keep up the good work.
The siding is charred or burnt wood siding. What a wonderful business. Thank you for sharing!
We enjoy watching your bison videos very much, and look fwd to seeing many videos on the cabin business life in the future.
My daughter Leeann and I, Steve, think you should link your two businesses a bit, by naming the cabins after your bison, and including many pictures of the bison within.
To the cabins I would recommend adding a porch-swing or rockers on the front veranda of each cabin.
Also, if you have a bit of adjoining land, you may consider adding some camper hook-ups. Many people travel about via RV and this could add some low maintenance income. if you like and have the space.
Another thing you might consider are some activities for your guest. these might include a nature trail for walkers, with points of interest like sights or maybe nesting birds locations for bird-watchers. An elevated look-out tower is always a big draw for guest to get an areal view of your remarkable landscape. Another possibility are inexpensive plastic (Durable) kayaks and canoes that may be rented to your guest. Later you may consider adding a small weekly bison rodeo, maybe. A big winner we think might be a weekly Bison BBQ, if that is acceptable, or a fish fry. People on vacation are always up for a show and some good food.
You could reach out to other RUclipsrs you may watch and like, and invite them to come check out your campgrounds, and give their review and opinions. This could be the very best of advertisement for your business, via word-of-mouth. After their visits, add their pictures with you and yours to your website for even more exposure.
Down the proverbial road, you may consider adding a small chapel for weddings. I would suggest including a pavilion for receptions with this if you go this route. Hiring a wedding planner to manage this could make this a hands-free business. This could become something big!
Finally, I would recommend adding Timber Bison shirts, mugs, etc. to your cabin-store.
We hope some of these ideas might help you with this new endeavor of yours, and we pray for your success! hopefully we will get the opportunity to visit and patronize your business.
God bless
