    My neighbor spent $900 on a rowing machine. Used it once, hated rowing and 4 years later blew the dust off and sold the machine to me for $50. I'd never considered rowing before before, but the bargain drove me on and I'm now a full dark horse addict 😂 Thank you for your inspiring work

    Thank you Darkhorse! I am a 60 year old female who stands 5'2" and at 56 was diagnosed with Printzmetal's Angina. I was literally bedridden and have had to add movement back into my life slowly. Fast forward and here I am. 5 - 6 days a week with the approval of my cardiologist. Today, my max was kissing 34! Thank you, Shane!!

    70 year old granny, 133 last set, heart rate up to 174 (don’t panic: I work out at a high rate). Only 3500 meters, but still... Shane, thanks for being here. The world is a lot better for you being in it.

    I think I post this every time - but LOVE the workouts with the warm up and cool down built in - keeps me honest and I notice the difference the next day when I'm not feeling so achy.

    I am 58,have been fighting Breast Cancer for 5 years. It returned in 2021 which was the worst because it had spread to my liver, bones and spine. Over the last year I have not stopped exercising no matter what and today I reached 33-34 for the last minute ……. Yay! 😅🙌🏻

    I’m loving this workout. I’ve lost almost 10lbs in 6 weeks. I’m doing the rowing about 5 nights a week, bike riding about 2 hours a day, and walking about 18,000 steps a day. Wishing more progress would show, but I’ll take what I’ve got!

    I am loving this workout. I was excited that today I finally truly “ramped up” each round! Max rate was 33 at the end. Thanks for teaching me how to row properly and the inspiration to show up every day! - J

    Ugh. Thank you. I may have skimmed the Sun on the first round and the third beat me but I got it back on the last. 967/929/908/931.
    I was off rower for about six months and just back on since last week. I needed this row. Thank you, Shane.

    I’m 67 and found this and after doing everything else my whole life I do find this to be the best. Also a beginner and could only get up to 28 strokes but it makes me feel great.

    Thank you, Shane. I started working out with your videos and my new rowing machine in August. I spent 10 weeks learning the movement and just today finally was able to make it through this entire workout. I wanted to celebrate with you 🎉

    Great comment about how long 1 minute feels 😂. Last minute of a 2k feels like an eternity but the 1 minute rest in this workout seems like the blink of an eye 😂

    The last minutes of these intervals were pretty heavy, but the very last one was exhausting! Nice workout! More like advanced one.
    Thank you for this one! I liked it, but will not attempt to repeat it quickly...

    Great workout. Bought an Erg because I didn’t have enough height in basement for a treadmill to use when I couldn’t get my runs in. Didn’t know what to do with it until I found Darkhorse. Now it is the perfect compliment to my running. Thanks so much for getting me on track!

    I also liked the warm up/cool down within the same video. I almost left to find the other cool down you have. I stuck with you visually at 35. I like the timer being on the bottom left so I can hide it with my phone (with HR stats) against a tablet if I want to. I use it for some work outs but with it hidden, it keeps me focused on the mechanics and pressure instead of an eye on the clock. Proud to be a DH subscriber!

    Could only get to 28 in that last minute, was nackered! Great workout thank you mate. My partner and I have been doing your workouts for about 6 weeks now and feeling really really good. Just getting into a 25 days of workout challenge from the Concept website - your workouts will help for this a lot!

    Last two rounds felt amazing! Got to 37 strokes the very last minute but you shouldn't have seen how I got there. Pace got just under 1.29/500mtr that last 20 seconds. Thanks mate! First time working out with these video's and it won't be the last.

    Great workout. Was able, barely, to increase merters on each interval. Compared to many of the lower stroke count video workouts you have the 26 and 30 were a beast to try to maintain form on.

    Thanks for this workout, I wasn’t expecting that at all! It feels great to accomplish something like this. I started rowing to recover from a rotator injury and keep doing it because it feels great to push myself.

    Managed to stick to 30-32 on the final minute. Great workout as usual. It always helps me to stay motivated and keep pushing. On the topic of wearables, I’d love to see DH tanks and/or an aio one day. Whether it’s feasible or not, I’ll still be here for the next workout. You’re much appreciated.

    Great workout! My first interval was my best, 778m; last set I got up to a 33 & 772m so not much different but I was TIRED so maybe need to pace myself more in the beginning! Will definitely come back to this one.

    This was a great workout! I found by the last 2 rounds of each set my legs were use to driving hard, resulting in much better split times at 26 and 30 SR. I fell a little short of your 1050 meters per 4 minute split, but definitely will improve my 2nd or 3rd go at this workout. Thanks for posting!

    Thank you for another great workout! Love your videos, they make rowing workouts much more tolerable and pace setting is super helpful. Got up to 35 SPM in the last minute, was gassed at the end!     I did hit 34 on the last interval, but not for long. I probably averaged 31-32 that last minute. It gives me something to work towards for the future. Thanks again for a great workout!

    Thank you for a brutal workout. Was both fun and intense and horribel at the same time. What you mention about darkhorses is a very good analogy, but we are lucky to have you as our backbone and support (so not really dark horses anymore :) ). What a great entry into the weekend! Btw, I only managed 30 during last minute as well. However, my main concern is actually my drag factor. It's only around 100 when doing these intervals. That seems so vey low....
