- The inspiration behind this chocolate bonsai tree originated from one of my trips to Shanghai back in 2019. It is simple yet alludes power. I love the little pinecones! What do you think?

That calligraphy is actually really impressive. I’ve done it for years and it’s really hard to get it come out nicely

I do Chinese calligraphy, and honestly I thought that was the simple part? The chocolating looked very challenging to me. 😂 it’s a matter of practice, I guess.
The combination of pottery skills and chocolate has to be one of the coolest things I've seen so far. There much have been a lot of chocolate mess afterward though haha

I’m really impressed by how readable and well written your Chinese characters are-in addition to the amazing sculpting. Usually they look awkward when copied by non-Chinese readers.
I was wondering if they were real - I thought they must be, considering who the artist is
@@JHaven-lg7ljat 1:20 you're seeing that they're being copied from a reference sheet, so definitely real, if he didn't care he could just freehand gibberish. The difficulty is usually the actual calligraphy: using the correct character forms and stroke order (which can differ from modern stroke order), being legible and concise (although the conciseness would be up to the author of the text here), and being aesthetically pleasing.
I have to say that I am very impressed to see you writing Chinese calligraphy. It's better than how most Chinese people write it. Very well done👍👍👍

There is nothing more enjoyable to see a true Master of his craft at work and just be in awe..
My husband and one of my sons are Bonsai enthusiasts. In my own garden my husband has nurtured over a 150 of these. Son has about 40. Lego now has kits where you can build Bonsai so seeing this masterpiece is phenomenal. Just wow.

I personally think that the most incredible part about this is the calligraphy, I know from first hand experience just how hard it is for only ink-on-paper, so doing intricate stuff, _by hand, _with _chocolate?_ Well done, sir! 👏👏
Also, a freaking pottery wheel was not something I expected to see... and I honestly don't know why - it sounds like an amazing tool to have.

I don’t know how Amaury’s white shirt stays white throughout the process. If this was anyone else there would be blobs of chocolate, buts if gold or red spray and pieces of green leaves all over that shirt . 🌲 🌿❤
