Honestly has to be one of the best PR cover ups by the treasury claiming the mini budget was the reason for crashing bond market and hence rise in mortage rayes. Basically we owned 60% of the worlds LDI’s which were sensitive to interest rises since the interest you have to pay back on LDI’s matches the current interest rates and given inflation at the time of course interest rates rose. Pensions were also heavily invested in LDI’s. When interest rates rose the BOE decided to sell/short its LDI’s shares hence crashing the bond market, also made worse by the strengthening US dollar and asian markets taken advantage of UK owned LDI’s. The timing of all this was coincidental and the treasury used her mini budget as a scapegoat and how the hell they got away without an investigation is beyond me. Thousands of people have lost most of their pensions and rises in mortgages leading to people loosing their homes… Also what is annoying is that the OBR said there was a £70 billion blackhole of missing taxyoayer money when there wasnt when she announced her budget trying to make her cuts seem unaffordable. Unfortunately, Liz reminds the viewer of why she didn't last more than 49 days as PM of the UK. For example, she demonstrates a lack of understanding of basic economics and, a rejection of basic climate science. The tragedy exposed is that, while the British parliamentary system is perhaps the most stable form of democracy, it is capable of installing weak leaders in power. That is the real lesson here.

Gud mrng Liz ♥️
Deeeeeluuusional
Lovely to see the trolls on here, so unelected sunak is doing such a great job ain’t he!!!
You can hate both.
She like him, supported the policies over decades that have now handed over all power to the Bankers
They're both terrible. Sad to see so many conservatives get fooled by her sudden meaningless 'i'm gonna pretend i'm a true conservative' talk.
@@evolassunglasses4673 It was blair who started the rot with the supreme court
I wonder 💭 if all the peoples lives she wrecked with her economic disaster are crying 😢 too ? Imagine going to the bank for a business 👩💼 loan 💵 without a costed plan

😂
She supported policies for decades that empowered the Bankers.
Is that Red Lion?
I mean a 40 Billion hit is alot you know....
And yet other pointless interview from GB news with no push back or meaningful questions whatsoever from the interviewer , worst bit of journalism since the last ego stroking interview Truss did with Ian Dale on LBC .
how would the country being bankrupt be better.
In 2022 when Foreign Secretary, Lavrov asked Liz Truss if she recognised the Russian regions of Rostov & Voronezh. She said that the UK would never recognise those regions as part of Russia. She deserves more recognition as a comic genius.
This woman is either stupid or mad. But unintentionally hilarious.
She will probably go the way of Reform and join with the new alt- far right loonies. It's only a matter of time as the warbling Widdecombe has already suggested.
We should have referendums for all the really big changes to our country, we can't leave those decisions to our politicians
Rumours that Liz is Frank Spencers niece are as yet unconfirmed.
She's a weapon.
Liz Truss.......😂😂😂.....Liz....Truss
Well in choppa
Can’t even watch … making me sick! Bye.
@@geraldinebricis2129 The perspective is she failed in every way & she was the shortest PM to stay in number 10 in history, in such a short time she caused so much devastation to pound to people still struggling to pay mortgages.. repossessions destruction of businesses that still as affect today… massive failure at a job she was incapable of doing it’s a fact! Why would anyone take time to listen to anything she spouts??????
@@PeterMilewski-xo3ew You're so uneducated and a bigot to boot
Javier Milei implements reforms and is called a maverick and a visionary. Our Liz tried to do things and the whole corrupt financial system that owns the gov kicked her out. Spot the difference. We're in serious trouble, but there are still clueless voters comparing her to a lettuce or cabbage. Another indication of how much trouble this country is in.
Liz Truss is the best PM we never had...
Why is he nickname chopper? As he got a big chopper..
No because of his ill fitting false teeth.
How did she ever become PM?... we live in crazy times.
Absolute Propaganda.
Crocodile teers 😢
twot
“I’m sorry to make you cry…”
Cha -CHING! 💰
Od interview but wish she would stop all the han movements,so annoying,

Trust Cbeebies to platform loopy Liz.

Best priminister we were not allowed to have.
Ha ha.
You can't even spell prime minister
@@stephenedwards3854 You can't even open your mind to other ideas. You will love your enslavement in your 15min city. If you don't go to ucraine first. Yes I spelt that wrong too.
@@Ray-om5xtshe supports Ukraine, net zero.
@@georgemather9082 So does reform, War makes money unfortunately so that's where we're going. In reality we get thrown under the bus by politicians. She would have kicked started the economy but that was not allowed either so they kicked her out for WEF sunak. The rest is history.
The only problem is getting elected😂, and the public like the treasury are “surprisingly resistant” to human wrecking balls (why would that be?🤔). She’s a comedy act (her whole career, entry into oxford on maths performance switching to economics, her family) she just makes me laugh.
