    I will be using this today 1/27/23!! Subbing strawberry preserves for 1/2 cup of powdered sugar as a surprise (filling a hollow chocolate cake). Great demonstration, thanks. The phrase "I'm just gonna go ahead and..." is limiting the effect of your presenting skills. Listen to the video...22 times in 7 minutes you used that phrase. Please be encouraged to improve and I will subscribe and be excited about your growth as a presenter!

    For those who think this might be too much sugar here is a tip I learned when making this cream cheese filling, I use some condensed milk instead of the powdered sugar and i feel like it's so much creamier and easier to work with and also it is not too sweet it still leaves the bit of tangyness you want from the cream cheese. Usually for an 8 ounce or a cream cheese block I use maybe half of a small condensed milk can. But please adjust to your liking. You can test taste it as well and see how you like it :)

    Whew girl four cups! And btw this will slide off any cake or cupcakes fyi I use it for crepe filling but heck maybe 1/2 cup of sugar at best

    I just need a filling for my strawberry cake with fresh strawberries and pineapple so I used cool whip ,cream cheese and powdered sugar and it was delicious 😋

    I make mine just like this except that I only put add in about 2 cups of powdered sugar. It's my go to frosting/filling.

      Yes. Maybe mix the sugar then add some cream cheese.

    That's a lot of sugar!!!! I only put 3 to 4 tbsp of sugar in my creamcheese frosting and it's Perfect 😊

    I think just 1 or 2 cups of powdered sugar is enough for 1 (8 Oz) package of cream cheese. That amount of powdered sugar is if you're making frosting

    To much powdered sugar, this must be very sweet. I only use 2 cups when I make cream cheese frosting.

    4 cups of sugar just in the cream cheese alone. What was that? A half a cup or so of sugar in the whip cream? I would never be able to eat this and I am not diabetic.

    Wow I think cream is almost over whipped there. I use same method, but I only add 1 cup of powdered sugar to the cream cheese (8 oz)

      yes! you can. I would probably suggest using a bit less whip cream,that way it's a little more stiff 😊

    Guaranteed diabetes or sugar coma with this recipe. All you need is half cup sugar in the 8 oz cream cheese. Skip the other 4 cups of sugar please!

      DieuAnh HoangNguyen yes, it's made in seconds sometimes. It depende on the cream, the machine, etc. It's reader when you can make the picks. Be careful, if you whisk for too long, it be comes butter...

    4 cups powder sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    whisk until smooth consistency

    I'm diabetic and I think the sugar is fine, remember if you put it on thick it will be sweeter and thinner less sweet besides you don't know how much sugar she put in the bread. I live in Hawaii and thanks to your attitude HC&S closed down. corn syrup is way worse for you and makes Coke taste like crap, if you get Coke from Mexico where the use real sugar it taste good and is refreshing.

    For those saying it's too much sugar, then this recipe is not for you. To me, this would be exactly what I want for filling a tiered cake because it wouldn't be stable enough with less sugar. Make it any way you like for your needs, but it's downright rude to come on here with snotty comments....you do not have to watch & certainly do not have to comment if it's not what you are looking for. Geez!

    I followed the recipe exactly to a T and it was way too loose. I made the mistake of filling my cake with it and all of the layers slid. I let the filling set in the fridge in the piping bag before using it. My cake was going to be the focal point of my Halloween meal and it was a disaster!
