For those who think this might be too much sugar here is a tip I learned when making this cream cheese filling, I use some condensed milk instead of the powdered sugar and i feel like it's so much creamier and easier to work with and also it is not too sweet it still leaves the bit of tangyness you want from the cream cheese. Usually for an 8 ounce or a cream cheese block I use maybe half of a small condensed milk can. But please adjust to your liking. You can test taste it as well and see how you like it :)
I just need a filling for my strawberry cake with fresh strawberries and pineapple so I used cool whip ,cream cheese and powdered sugar and it was delicious 😋

I'm diabetic and I think the sugar is fine, remember if you put it on thick it will be sweeter and thinner less sweet besides you don't know how much sugar she put in the bread. I live in Hawaii and thanks to your attitude HC&S closed down. corn syrup is way worse for you and makes Coke taste like crap, if you get Coke from Mexico where the use real sugar it taste good and is refreshing.

I followed the recipe exactly to a T and it was way too loose. I made the mistake of filling my cake with it and all of the layers slid. I let the filling set in the fridge in the piping bag before using it. My cake was going to be the focal point of my Halloween meal and it was a disaster!

I think just 1 or 2 cups of powdered sugar is enough for 1 (8 Oz) package of cream cheese. That amount of powdered sugar is if you're making frosting

To much powdered sugar, this must be very sweet. I only use 2 cups when I make cream cheese frosting.

Wow I think cream is almost over whipped there. I use same method, but I only add 1 cup of powdered sugar to the cream cheese (8 oz)
