- Join Monsters and I in discussing two very similar episodes from the DC Animated Universe. Both episodes provide an emotional and personal look into alternate realities where the heroes imagine what could’ve been had tragedy not stricken their lives. We compared “Perchance to Dream” from Batman: The Animated Series to “For the Man Who Has Everything” from Justice League Unlimited. We also talk to about what we’ve been watching recently and play a Batman v. Superman trivia game (unrelated to the movie).

32:00 Personally in psych, I've seen alot of studies that have disproven the "left brain right brain" theory as both sides often show similar bloodflow in MRI's regardless of whether performing "left brained" or "right brained" task. Though I think it's one of those ideas that fits well with many people's "schemas." I think it's just a kind of cool way to visualise the mind when we can split the creative and logical side into two halves, but I don't believe it has much evidence *shrugs*.

After I left that comment, I searched if he actually did retire, and some sources said that he quietly retired from wrestling. I didn’t know he retired, because WWE has never announced that on an episode of Raw (which is another wrestling show), or SmackDown. My apologies. But thank you reading my comment!

Superman's dream was a mix of his human life and krypton that could have been. His being a farmer is because of his upbringing on earth and the earthquakes was Superman trying to wake up, but the Black Mercy was too powerful since someone outside have to pull it for the person to wake up.
I love this episode more than the Batman TAS episode (but Batman win points on better design). I surprise you guys didn't bring up Superman was trying to murder Mongul, when I first watch that episode that part stands out. The fact that Superman tries to murder someone made "I don't think you real" scene has more impact since there only one villain who able to get that reaction out of Superman and it is Darkseid who murders his best friend and brainwashes and force him to attack earth. For me, this is one of the top episodes of DCAU. But I think Only a Dream from Justice League Season 2 is a better fit with Perchance to Dream than The Man Who Has Everything

Pieguy, how much of that comic did you skim? While the real world stuff is almost exactly the same, Superman's dream is VERY different. I remember that Superman's farther either starts a cult or a riot or both.

Starting from season 1 ep 11 of jlu and onwards they stopped having the theme song show clips from the specific ep. They made a new verison that had clips from a bunch of eps and just used that one for the rest of the show.

One thing I find ironic about how fans didn't like the Beth/Jerry stuf in season 3 is that Vindicators 3 may be the most disliked episode of the season, and that barely had them at all. What do you think of Vindicators?
Correction of the correction: the rock was a wrestler, then was a part timer later in his career, BUT he hasn't wrestled in about 4 years and is presumed to be retired, although he never had a retirement match and there's always a chance of a wrestler returning.
BroDude Official I don’t know if WWE ever said that The Rock was ever retiring. I looked up if he actually retired, but the sources are not from WWE themselves. This caused people to not know that he was retired.
