Just heard this song at church on Easter yesterday and just listening to The words of this song hit my heart at its core! Thank you Jesus for saving me! And for being my lord that died for me when I didn’t deserve it! Jesus you are Lord forever and ever! ❤️
[Verse 1] I was an orphan lost at the Fall Running away when I'd hear Your call But Father, You worked Your will I had no righteousness of my own I had no right to draw near Your throne But Father, You loved me still [Chorus 1] And in love before You laid the world's foundation You predestined to adopt me as Your own You have raised me so high up above my station I'm a child of God by grace and grace alone [Verse 2] You left Your home to seek out the lost You knew the great and terrible cost But Jesus, Your face was set I worked my fingers down to the bone Nothing I did could ever atone But Jesus, You paid my debt [Chorus 2] By Your blood, I have redemption and salvation Lord, You died that I might reap what You have sown And You rose that I might be a new creation I am born again by grace and grace alone [Verse 3] I was in darkness all of my life I never knew the day from the night But Spirit, You made me see I swore I knew the way on my own Head full of rocks, a heart made of stone But Spirit, You moved in me [Chorus 3] At your touch my sleeping spirit was awakened On my darkened heart the light of Christ has shone Called into a kingdom that cannot be shaken Heaven's citizen by grace and grace alone [Outro] So I'll stand in faith by grace and grace alone I will run the race by grace and grace alone I will slay my sin by grace and grace alone I will reach the end by grace and grace alone
Since 1991 when I was introduced to the Southern Baptist Doctrines of Grace, I have dreamed of studying at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, but now I am 62 years young
I'm 73 and I'm a choir director at a wonderful church. Don't put a limit on God! There were 23 years between my freshman and sophomore years of college.
Holy Moly, Miss Hailie. What a surprise to see you on my front page recommendations. God bless you little sis, this is fantastic. I knew God would have you doing stuff like this :)
So touching to me to see bodies of believers not directly connected to MH singing some of these amazing tunes that reflect the Lord's goodness and mercy to his people. Brings a little redemptive tear to my eye. Much love y'all.
Greetings. I'm a Nigerian. I love to join this gathering. Please, is there any scholarship scheme I can apply to further my Master in Theology in your prestigious institution? Thanks
@@forgodwusWhen videos like this one are put together I find the visual aspect distracting and sometimes cringy. Being that the whole purpose of a worship song is to direct one to the Lord I don't see the need for all the visual antics. I'm not saying video is 'bad' in a categorical sense- just that it often appeals to other senses unnecessarily. This is a personal thing of mine.

[Verse 1]
I was an orphan lost at the Fall
Running away when I'd hear Your call
But Father, You worked Your will
I had no righteousness of my own
I had no right to draw near Your throne
But Father, You loved me still
[Chorus 1]
And in love before You laid the world's foundation
You predestined to adopt me as Your own
You have raised me so high up above my station
I'm a child of God by grace and grace alone
[Verse 2]
You left Your home to seek out the lost
You knew the great and terrible cost
But Jesus, Your face was set
I worked my fingers down to the bone
Nothing I did could ever atone
But Jesus, You paid my debt
[Chorus 2]
By Your blood, I have redemption and salvation
Lord, You died that I might reap what You have sown
And You rose that I might be a new creation
I am born again by grace and grace alone
[Verse 3]
I was in darkness all of my life
I never knew the day from the night
But Spirit, You made me see
I swore I knew the way on my own
Head full of rocks, a heart made of stone
But Spirit, You moved in me
[Chorus 3]
At your touch my sleeping spirit was awakened
On my darkened heart the light of Christ has shone
Called into a kingdom that cannot be shaken
Heaven's citizen by grace and grace alone
[Outro]
So I'll stand in faith by grace and grace alone
I will run the race by grace and grace alone
I will slay my sin by grace and grace alone
I will reach the end by grace and grace alone
Gracias por traducir tan hermoso himno. Dios te recompense
Shame about Kensrue. This song is great
The only two words that matter on a Christian journey: Grace Alone.

You hold the faith-thats what matter. ❤
I'm working on my Master of Divinity (seminary) and I'm 60.
It's never too late!

@moseschibuye8402 I started pastoring a church at 60. The Word is full of people that called well past their “sell by” date 😊
This is probably the most theologically accurate song ever. Good job.
They didn’t write it. Dustin Kensrue did. Unfortunately he’s now a process theology apostate “Christian”
Come God the Holy Spirit…give us spiritual awakening. GRACE AND MERCY ALONE!
God alone, grace alone... ! Thank you for sharing your worship with us! Greetings from Rio 🏖 - BR
I'm child by grace and grace alone❤😊
Amen! Not by works of righteousness that we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us! 🙌🏻

When will the music/charts be available for this? I'd love to play this version for an upcoming service focusing on Sola Gratia.
The song was written by The Modern Post, Dustin Kensrue
What is the reason for posting video recordings of your songs instead of just audio?
what is wrong in posting video along with audio?
