The really funny thing about 1:20 to me is that JFK specifically requested to *not* have a roof on the car
Dallas was known to hate him and his security detail wanted him protected, but JFK said that the American people should see their leader instead of hiding. Even when one of his group at a dinner the night before joked about him getting killed (I’m not making that up) he basically said “If I die, then I die”

Another treat of a reaction! Welcome to old Bo, he had absolutely ZERO chill at this age. Some of the stuff from this era didn’t age very well but I feel like if anyone can react to it while keeping everything in perspective, it’s you! Keep up the awesome work my dude!
Btw, I’m glad you brought up the whole “Jewish people having white privilege” thing.
You seem like a really thoughtful, and nice guy and this is in no way directed towards you, just towards that notion.
Someone having privilege because they can “blend in” is definitionally asinine. Having “white”, or “straight” or any other kind of privilege means that “blending in” isn’t a necessity. There’s nothing to blend into when you’re the de facto dominant demographic. Saying a Jewish person is privileged because their ethnicity isn’t prominent is like saying a gay person is privileged because they can pretend to be straight.
Just looking at history from a Eurocentric view point alone, jews have always been the majority’s punching bag. Doesn’t matter if you’re talking about the classical period, middle ages, Enlightenment, or modern day, they’ve always been vilified by some kind of a larger demographic.
Sure, there’s been an evolution to antisemitism and the ratio of vocal antisemites has waxed and waned throughout history, but it’s always been there in one form or another.
I love your reactions! Keep ‘em coming!
    Cheers

Anne Frank and white privilege? Um, no. Jewish people have faced genocide, discrimination and share a fear of white surpremecists. I wouldn't call that privileged. Not all Jewish people are rich, not even close. To believe so is as harmful as believing any dangerous stereotype about any person of color. Why can't all minorities have each other's backs? I know you're not espousing this, but I'm just answering your question with my opinion. Thanks for being open to discussion. I really enjoy your personality and commentary. You seem like a very kind and loving man.

"Why can't all minorities have each other's backs" is a very poor attitude to have. It's even more dangerous than whatever stereotypes you're afraid of, because YOU are making it minority vs majority. As a white male, I'd rather us all be on the same team. You are either intentionally pitting people against each other, or you're too ignorant to see that's what you're doing.

The notion of passing privilege is dubious. Being able to pretend to fit in is still really bad, because anything you do that might tip people off could get you exactly the same treatment (or potentially worse in particular circumstances). Just the stress of desperately hiding who you are when you know people around you would hate you if they knew the truth. Hardly sunshine and roses.
Also too many people take the current mainstream US view of races as definitive, but there's been times where people were judged by skull shape, nose shape, hair and/or eyes... Anne Frank might pass as white to modern eyes, but back then? Well, they were hiding for a reason. It's all in the mind and eye of the bigot who's threatening you, what race/religion/sexuality/gender they think you are - you might not be what they assume but they might still beat you up for their assumptions. The only answer is to eradicate these bigotries altogether 😕

Anne Frank and her family has to hide in the attic because they, in fact, could NOT just blend in with the society around them. Whoever is saying she had white privilege needs to read a history book.

@@kos_m824 You're completely misconstruing my reply as well as assuming you know who I am or my demographic. I'm not going to engage in arguing with you. It's not productive.

    Love is complex, basically.
It’s not the fairy tale or feels of infatuation and lust, but it love itself is good and enjoyable.
If you have ridiculous expectations and make continuous comparisons it will seem less great than it actually is, but that’s on you.
Kinda what I get from it.

There is a reason light bulbs and other electronics fail like they do. They could last longer, but they need you to buy more or their product is worthless. The Centennial Light is the world's longest-lasting light bulb, burning since 1901 as an example. The term is planned obsolescence

Agree with you about the intro to songs. So many times we just take what we can get because it could be worse to have nothing. Doesn't mean what we found is garbage, it just means that we're scared that nothing is worse. Congrats on being with your wife for 14 years, that is a true accomplishment in this day and age! Thank you for this Bo reaction! Facts!

The line about a Romani being on the run harkens back to a European stereotype that Romanis are all guilty of some crime, be it shoplifting (this one is an especially prevalent stereotype in Finland at least) or robbery etc.

I’ve done all the popular ones. Most rectors will stop once the popular ones are finished because they perform waaaayyy less. My views on bo burham has drop since I’ve first reacted to him, however I don’t care cause I like Bo and that’s all that matters to me.
Just in case you ever wonder why reactors stop reacting to a certain artist, or don’t do deep tracks, that’s why haha.

That joke on rape whistle producers not wanting rapist to be eliminated is a really good job at corporate America but just capitalism in general. If you're selling and marketing the solution, then then you don't want people to actually have their problems solved because if you made a durable product that wouldn't require you to make a better product because it was your best product or at least will be for a while then you're just going to end up with an initial high peak in sales and then nothing

Thank you. Love depends on the context surrounding that love. It isn't strictly romantic relationships. You can you know love family you can love friends you can love having certain jobs or just where you are in life as in how much you succeeded or appreciating what you have

You find a different use for whistles or come up with another product, or change your model to something like a charity to send whistles to those who still need them but may not otherwise be able to obtain them, comfortable in the knowledge that it'll be a depressingly long time before rape whistles lose their purpose anyway and that tasers and other defensive items are a greater threat to your business than rape ceasing within any kind of short timeframe. Like, if you decided no one needed to make any more door locks because they'd done their job, you quickly end up with a lot of doors that people can just walk through whenever, which comes with a spike of people doing exactly that.
