I'm too late to answer this, but you gotta go to the same view as in the video and click on the tab that has your layout name, then click on "Add Resource Qualifier" and it will pop up the exact same dialog as the video

I want only smartphones to be able to download my mibil app. I found the following code for this. Do you have any information on this subject? Is this code correct? I wanted to restrict smartwatches and tablets by doing this. I wanted to allow phones from 5 inch to 7 inch . Is this a correct usage?
What changes we have to do in linear layout so that if user uses landscape mode full is visible and i uses portrait than full screen is vissible actually in my case if user is in landscape mode than also potrait is visible only
what if you have 30 activity and 60 layout files DAAAAAAMN IT you have to do every thing in android studio it looks like we are programming with language c this is a huuuge mistake in android studio pal.
These sizes are for other screens not for the mobile screen but at start, you were said we are going to do for mobile screen sizes if you don't know why you are wasting our time

You need to create separate layout resource file for landscape mode

It will but not significantly, if you are not using static resources like havy images etc.

Professional apps do use different pixels image for different size screens but can have same image as well
