That tower is now owned by the Paris if you want that one book Paris Versailles room.. but I agree first time I stayed i got screwed did realize that tower was closed
Thanks for watching and commenting. Sorry you got screwed too. At least it's not just me, lol. I stayed at Paris too this trip. Great view and I didn't even pay for a view. I recently posted a review. Check it out! I'm still angry at Horseshoe. We booked and paid for a South Strip view. We didn't get it. No price reduction, no explanation, no nothing. If Horseshoe can no longer provide South Strip views, they shouldn't offer them.
you did get a room with a view. I have had that view a few times but up higher. I would be happy with that view or the view of the sphere. The other tower is apart of Paris now. maybe you should have tryed upgrade to a room on the 26th floor, nice big rooms with 2 bed rooms and a living space in the middle.
Thanks for watching and commenting. As I said in the video, it is a nice view. But it's not what we were promised. It's not what we paid for. We should have had a view of the strip looking south. The room type and room description were very clear about that. You are familiar with Vegas, so I assume you would agree this is NOT a "south strip view." If that other tower was the only way to get a south strip view from Horseshoe, but it's now part of Paris, they shouldn't be promising south strip view rooms at Horseshoe. And at check in, we were initially basically told we weren't getting any real view. The front desk staff "helped" us by providing this room. As far as upgrades, this is an upgrade from what they planned to give us, but it is a downgrade from what we were entitled to. She essentially said you're not getting the room you reserved and paid for, but because you're complaining, we're going to screw you less than we intended. And this is the third time Horseshoe has pulled this sort of BS.
@@AngryVermonter do you book with ceasars or a 3rd party? I never had problems with the Horseshoe out of the times I stayed there since 2020 about 6or7 times I stayed there.
@@MrTy2K We always book directly through Caesar's. We have stayed in four different rooms at Horseshoe over the last few years. We paid extra for a specific view three times and didn't get what we paid for all three times. The only time we didn't get ripped off was the time we booked and paid for a standard, nothing special room. This would be unacceptable if it happened one out of three times. It happened three out of three. And they didn't do anything to compensate us; like reduce the room rate to a relevant price, provide vouchers for food or gambling, or anything along those lines. In my opinion, the price should have been reduced AND we should have gotten some other sort of "sorry to disappoint you, thank you for understanding" compensation. I stayed at Paris four nights this last trip (room review to come). The view was at least as good as the one from Horseshoe and I didn't pay any extra for it. I'll never pay any extra for a Horseshoe room again. In fact, I may not pay any extra for ANY room in Vegas. There seems to be zero correlation between what we reserve and what we get.
Liked.

That Paris now
That's what another viewer was saying too. They were doing work on it while I was there. I guess to make the architecture look more like Paris?
