Lot of cool memories as a mid seventies pre-teen/teen with this music. Just takes you away to a more pleasant place where the music is fun and not so serious! Play it again Pablo! Music to bring the people back together again and show some ❤️
Ahh, riding in my boyfreinds 73 LTD Brougham, Pablo Cruise in the cassette player, sitting close on the way to the drive in. Still together after 46 years, and still listening to this album!
Just saw Pablo Cruise open for Kenny Loggins in Clearwater FL this past fall. After their set, Dave Jenkins came and sat in the seat right behind me in the regular old seats. Totally normal friendly guy! I love normal people who happen to have great talent!!
I love me some Pablo Cruise bring me back to great times remember being at the lake when I was a teenager this song was popular than just want to say great memories call Pablo
One of the best memories I have as a kid was when my mom brought home this brand new album called Worlds Away. Even though I was only 6 at the time, I knew these were the guys who did “Whatcha Gonna Do?” from the year before (1977). Anyway, I remember my mom playing that album, Gerry Rafferty’s “City to City” and Billy Joel’s “The Stranger” constantly and I would just sit on the carpet in front of the speakers, reading the album covers and just getting lost in the music. 46 years later, I’m playing these same albums on my own record player in my house. The sound track to my childhood was indeed a glorious one.
I saw Pablo Cruise in the late 70's, opening for the Doobie Brothers, and I've always loved their music. Speaking as a musician, I've played their hits in various bands, love Yacht Rock, and ironically, will be playing with a Doobie Brothers tribute band (The Doobie Others) on that SAME Rock & Romance Cruise in March that Pablo will be on! Hope to get to meet these guys. Keep on goin' guys!!! 🙂💖🤘
I saw you at Bowling Green State University when I was a student there in 1976 in a small venue and have listened to you and loved you ever since. I’m so glad to see you playing together again ❤️ Raging Fire is probably the greatest love song I’ve ever heard.
Pablo Cruise had one of the best rhythm sections ever with Steve Price and Bud Cockrell. Cockrell was also THE voice of the band. Jeff Porcaro had high praise for Steven. That speaks volumes.
I still remember Bud Cockrell (RIP) He blew me away with his lead vocal on the title Track A PLACE IN THE SUN. He reminded me of a prime version of TOTOS Bobby Kimball.
I believe the very first time I ever heard this song on the radio was in 1978 and I fell in Love with it back then but as time went on I didn’t hear it again on the radio anymore so years went by and for the Life of me I Couldn’t remember the name of This song at All but Or Even The Group ! A few decades had passed or a little more than that I Actually heard this song once Again and I was So Happy to Hear it Again and then I Finally Heard the name and song again and I Now Hope I Never Forget It Again ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Loved Pablo Cruise music from day one. But back in the day, I thought Pablo Cruise was the singer. LOL it wasn't until years later that I learned how they came up with the name for their group.
I hate Mick Huckabee's very existence but this is a great performance. You have no way of knowing why conservatives are so hateful when they love this music.
I remember playing this album. It was my older sister's and her stereo. Cool music and I also remember seeing them a PBS concert and that made the music even better. But now, with them on this guy's show? So, is this a band of MAGA? If so, no thank you.
Bruce Santos was their bass player. Met him at Don Weirs Music City in San Francisco where he worked in the early 1980s, where I used to regularly shop for gear. Saw them at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in 1978 during the State Fair.
Great band with a lead guitarist who knows how to lay down some tasty licks. The guitar solo on "Whatcha Gonna Do" is a gem.
Solid song writers....the best of MOR rock!
Lot of cool memories as a mid seventies pre-teen/teen with this music.
Just takes you away to a more pleasant place where the music is fun and not so serious! Play it again Pablo!
Music to bring the people back together again and show some ❤️
Played drums to their music the day they started.... saw them twice in Connecticut... great band

There is just something about that album (Worlds Away) that transports you. 1977-1979 were exceptional years!!! And this song.....😊😊😊
@@Phil-pq4ks exactly.
Congrats to 46 years!❤❤
Very cool!
Was it an 8-track player?
Pablo cruise was the first concert I ever attended . I was in the 8th grade and shortly I will be 62!
My first concert was Bad Company in 1979, I will be 62 in a little over two weeks. Those Pablo Cruise songs sure do bring back fun memories.
Me too. Opener was Dr Hook. I;m guessing '78 or '79.
Mine too, I am 61, it was in jr High and the drummer did a solo by dancing on a huge Bass Drum, I am a drummer and freaked out... it was a great time!
Man i love 70s soft rock. Brings a feel good feeling.
Pablo Cruise weren’t all soft rock.
I suggest for you to enjoy “Zero To Sixty In Five” and “El Verano”

Worlds Away is one of my all time favorite albums.
Memories for sure from this 56 year old!
Thank you Mr. Huckabee, for a wonderful band that still nail it.

Bloody fantastic! After all these years they still have it!

So solid!!! bass was kickin...lead vocal ...don't get any better!!!
Sound Great! Wish there were musicians and vocalists like this in the top 40 today! Unfortunately and quite sadly they don’t.
Is there even real music today?
Saw Pablo Cruise on Oct. 28, 1977 at the Summit in Houston, Tx. & they were awesome….
& still are !
I saw these guys at the Del Mar fair around 1980. They killed it so I saw them again with all my friends. I love that style music.❤
Del mar? As in, near Salisbury MD?
I used to camp at the Woodlawn campground in del mar
Actually, Del Mar Fair is north of SanDiego Ca.

Serious jams!
Sometimes you gotta see it live to realize how good it is.
Welcome back Pablo Cruz. Thank you Governor!!!!
Cool Change was my favorite Pablo song. It rarely gets mentioned, but one of the best.
You mean " cool love"? Cool change is Little River Band
Little River Band did Cool change. Pablo did Cool Love.
Yes. Sorry.
Thank you for having them on your show!! Love them 💕
They still got it !!
Is that Steve Price (original drummer) ? Incredible, solid drummer...you have to see him live (and the BAND). Nice guy too.
Really great musicians!
They still sound great. BTW, I still have a cassette of this that I recorded from my LP back in late 70s.
Ocean Breeze is one of the greatest songs ever created.
Such great songs.
This group was really popular back when I was growing up I couldn't buy their music fast enough had 45 record player and I'd jam
Plus use to go roller skating everyday weekend and the business would play their songs and loved to skate to their music
I love this band !
I saw you at Bowling Green State University when I was a student there in 1976 in a small venue and have listened to you and loved you ever since. I’m so glad to see you playing together again ❤️ Raging Fire is probably the greatest love song I’ve ever heard.
They still sound good
Awesome performance. They all can sing.
The singer is the singer from groove night with Rick Moratta and Dave Spinozza . Great singer
Love their music! Lot’s of good memories!
Have the album Worlds Away on vinyl with this song on it. They still sound great 🎶🤟
My first live concert at 9 years old in 1978.
Great band and top-notch instrumentalists. Wish they hadn't taken 20 years off.
I was a big fan back then ans still remain a big fan now ! Awesome job !!!! Comeing to you from the coast of Maine !

Thats for sure. I saw them live in the 70s and I was blown away by the drummer. But they are all really great musicians. And nice guys too!!!

Mr. Price is a drummer's "Drummer" who knows when to lay down the fills... and when to show restraint. In either case, always fun to watch!
I believe the very first time I ever heard this song on the radio was in 1978 and I fell in Love with it back then but as time went on I didn’t hear it again on the radio anymore so years went by and for the Life of me I Couldn’t remember the name of This song at All but Or Even The Group ! I’m 58 and I barely remember them but I thought was the doobie brothers sorry 🫢 but I love it 🙌🏼
Yup, awesome rendition of their classic song!!
Band still sounds great, especially with a bass player / vocalist like Larry Antonino.
Love this!! Thank You Sir!!
How many people sang along with this? I did! 😎
Been awhile since I heard these guys, thanks.
Awww, loved these guys!
"In my own quiet way" 😉😉
Loved Pablo Cruise music from day one. But back in the day, I thought Pablo Cruise was the singer. LOL it wasn't until years later that I learned how they came up with the name for their group.

I’m the one that said your last episode was cut short for Pablo Cruz. Luckily, I found it here thank you.
Wow! What a Nice Channel! Huckabee's great! BTW Just discovered it now, looking for Gino Vanelli's new stuff.
Wowaweewa!
Man, ampeg has got to be the best bass amplifiers in the world !
Imo David Jenkins ranks right up there with Eric Clapton with those guitar solos. You be the judge.
Winterland was their Home !
Does not even come to sounding like the Pablo Cruise that I remember.
Well what do you expect they are older now but still sound good to me
Cory did not "take 20 years off". He did the music for the Baywatch shows and made millions
They are Wow!!!
#SANTA CRUZ MUSIC!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
“Worlds Away” Watcha gonna do?
What is Pablo Cruise doing with this dope?
Who Cares! Seems like no one else has them live
I hate Mick Huckabee's very existence but this is a great performance. You have no way of knowing why conservatives are so hateful when they love this music.

Bruce Santos was their bass player. Met him at Don Weirs Music City in San Francisco where he worked in the early 1980s, where I used to regularly shop for gear. Saw them at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in 1978 during the State Fair.
So called "yacht rock" (AOR actually) is one of the best genre ever.
