I still remember how A Warrior is A Child played before the end of our Annual Youth Seminar done in my University. I cried a lot. Our seminar starts with laughter and end with tears. It made us realize how to value our parents and the opportunity to have a good education provided by our parents. It’s like after done, I can’t help myself to go home and tell my parents how I love them very much to the point that my parents is asking if something wrong happened to me or I’m just crazy haha. I truly love the song 😊❤️
This is probably the hardest that you cried in a video and we all felt that. You allowed yourself to open your heart and soul and took us there. Gary V has that spiritual effect whenever he sang these beautiful songs that reflects the fragility of our innermost being. It makes us human and it makes us long for Him even more.🙏

There is a story behind the song the warrior is a child. It is composed by Gary V himself!! There was a beautiful child actress that died at a very young age, at her wake was a famous actor kneeling and crying Gary saw this and wrote the song on the spot.

Gary had Juvenile Diabetes and was told by his doctor that he wont live past his 30s. He is now in his mid 50s. Last year he also survived an open heart surgery and cancer in one blow. He is now cancer free.
