E BIKE BOYS WEEKEND IN BENTONVILLE!!
Join Rob Drew and I for a KILLER time ripping the sweetest trails, eating the best food, and consuming all the incredible coffee! All inclusive with sweet accommodations at a sweet pad AND a Fezzari Timp Peak loaner rig included if you don't have your own e bike to bring. Are YOU interested in hanging with Rob and I in the Ville? Well, only FOUR SPOTS currently available for this one! Shoot us a message at info@therideseriesmtb.com if interested.
There's no shortage of incredible trails in Arkansas and it's hard to choose the best. That being said, The town of Clarksville is making their case with the Red Lick system! We ventured down for a few days to check it out and were blown away! This place has some of the raddest trail I've ridden in AR and it's such a great spot for rider progression. Add in some stellar amenities in the way of coffee and food, it's a must visit.
Located about an hour and 45 minutes from Bentonville, it's certainly worth a day trip or even an overnight in combination with Nebo.
My bike of choice for this mission was the ‪@aribikes‬ Timp Peak, but I'd be down to ride either my Delano trail bike or La Sal enduro bike there as well. The return back to the top to hit the downhill trails is pretty straight forward and not too difficult. You also have some sweet singletrack you can rip and finish it off with a dip in the lake!
Check it out and let me know what you think!

I live close to these trails and hit them frequently. I really like this system. Rogue did a great job. It's a great place for sessions and the XC loop has killer flow and you can maintain a great average speed without having to kill yourself.

My community (similar size and location) fumbled the ball on new trails about 8 years ago for numerous reasons. This is a wonderful example of a grassroots movement by people truly determined to imroove their community.

Just rode here today. They absolutely did it right, gigantic smooth berms everywhere, steep challenging jumps on Taliha, beautiful lake views with the option to swim. And the best part is no freaking football sized rocks everywhere that destroy your tires like every trail in central AR has.

Great video Rich. I worked for Rogue during this build, Phil did an outstanding job with design, and utilizing what nature gave us. The mayor wanted a bit of everything, and with the hub, DH trails, and super fun xc, Rogue nailed it on this piece of property. And the Lake loop, while a bit boring on the S side, is still a nice 4-5 mile loop. Plus you can swim after the ride !! Best trails in Arkansas ??? Man I hate when folks ask that question, haha. But I would say top 5 for sure...

Mile for mile, some of if not the best trails in AR. I have had.
The pleasure of routing them several times. Even was invited out early for little tester. Didn't know the full story behind the trails, but the people I've talked to, in the community. They are definitely happy the trails are there.

Mayor Rieder knew his community needed trails, and he needed very little convincing that this hillside was begging for progressive downhill trails and some sweet singletrack. Many people see trail development in Arkansas and say "yeah, but my city doesn't have billionaires." Clarksville shows that any community can pull it off, even without the help of wealthy benefactors. With the combination of leadership, people to champion the project, and the right group of trailbuilders...magic can happen anywhere. Stay in Clarksville, ride Red Lick a day, head to Mt. Nebo for a day, and then run some shuttles at BOC for a day. It's a killer Arkansas trip!

Great video Rich as always. It looks like they have some elevation there that Bentonville generally doesn't have? If they keep building trails like that, they're not going to have any problem having people come and visit.

@@richdrewtherideseries I recommended Coler, Nebo and Centennial to friends after they hit Slaughter Pen. I did like Hand Cut and Red Lick but only session 2 or 3 runs at each. Howler is well worth the drive and will hit that one again.

Could swear I saw silver Stamp on the bike during the opening. Reason I asked was after watching your nebo peak vid I switched to clips. Been an interesting transition for me but it's improved my climbing plus stability. Thanks for the inspiration!
