    The delete button in Armoury Crate is not intended to delete the game from the SSD; rather, it removes the launcher icon.

      But the icon doesn’t go away some times hahah

    Swapping the internal drive is so easy and takes such little time you would have like a 3 minute video 🤣

    Tip for the fps limiter use it before you boot the game or else it wont be active. Also rsr in games without Fsr is a game changer. Also upscaling to 1080p is were it's at. Set a low native res and let FSR make it look closer to 1080p. What you get is still better that native 720p or whatever lower res you use.

      @twoBitTech RSR is basically FSR 1.0 but at a driver level so it works for every game. If the game supports FSR 2.0 it's going to look better than RSR you just need to tune it accordingly. Asus has a blog dedicated to explaining how to use the ROG Ally and best settings guidelines for some games

    Steam deck oled or rog ally z1 extreme?

    • @twoBitTech
      @twoBitTech  2 месяца назад

      oh man well they are both upgraded versions of their same platforms and they both got better but i think the z1 extreme takes the win in overall performance. keep in mind this is my opinion from research and until i have them both in my hands i cant really say.

    The Ally is good, but I've come back to the LEGO. For the price of the Z1 Extreme Ally with Case, Dock, Analog Protectors, new 1tb M.2 SSD, and such, the 1TB LEGO beats it for me price wise and makes it simple. The one thing in my use the LEGO does a lot better is I can use the controllers while I have it hooked up to the tv to navigate to whatever in the system due to the trackpad...Sure the VRR, armory create, and ability to use AFMF in handheld was nice, but Lenovo will keep improving on the LEGO, I think they're hella slow at doing it though.

    I think it's been confirmed that it wasn't the heat that was messing up the SD cards, it had something to do with the internals that was faulty which made the SD cards break, but it wasn't temperature wise. Regardless with the new Ally X, they decided to move the SD card to a different side just in case

      oh i didnt hear about this but if it was confirmed why move it? hahaha why fix whats not broken?

      Not the original commenter but I’ll post my reasons since I own both the ROG ally and legion go.
      1. Comfort the controls are more comfortable on the legion go. Not as comfortable as a steam deck but definitely better than an rog ally.
      2. Controllers come off. This is not as big a deal but it’s really nice. It allows me to treat the legion go as a windows tablet by hooking up a keyboard and mouse.
      3. Double usb4 ports. I can’t tell you how useful it is being able to use both the top and bottom usb ports.
      4. Lenovo customer service. I knocked my legion go off my night stand and broke one of the controllers. Lenovo sent me a new set of controllers no problem. Compare that to asus and their widely documented extortionist warranty service (watch gamer nexus rog ally vids).
      5. And most importantly…… dat screen. Oh my god. That screen is gorgeous. I almost forget it’s not OLED. True, most games won’t run at 2560 by 1400 at 144 fps, but I found a work around. Nvidia GeForce now ultimate subscription. Yeah you are streaming the games. But you are streaming them at ultra quality, full resolution, up to 120 fps. It’s gorgeous. No better way to play demanding games like Cyberpunk or Forza or Senua.

      @Mattyin3229 i really love the first hand accounts like yours. Its what i like to do, totally unbiased. that streaming subscription has got me very interested. whats the downside apart from just having to stream it ?
