I sit in the student section for games. It was absolutely thunderous during this game. There was one moment where I thought my right ear drum was gonna burst with how much vibration there was. Without a doubt, the best atmosphere I was a part of.
Being up in the nosebleed section can be a good thing. The decibel level closer to the field can get bursts over 130 decibels, and I would almost always have a headache by the end of games. Totally worth it though!
@@FAN_addicts Yes, I love your decibel reading measurement detail. Would be fascinating to see what it's like in the lower bowl/close to the field. Nebraska looks to have the most epic stadium/show/experiences of any program out there. Even NFL stadiums seem bland and boring in comparison, from what I can tell on the t.v. Hope you get to go back soon!! Thank you for sharing this.
@GodzHammer That 4th quarter show was cooler than anything I’ve seen, and I’ve been to a lot of stadiums. Nebraska so far is the most “SEC-like” stadium in the B1G, in terms of game day experience and fan passion!
So awesome you came out! As a long time fan and season ticket holder, I appreciated the kind words. We hope you become a part of the greatest fans in college football!! Always welcome back! GBR!
Husker fan here. Boosters do buy tickets to keep the sellout streak going, but they also donate those tickets away to charity and non-profit organizations that can’t really afford to go. But we’re talking a small percentage of tickets though. Fans still do what they can to buy and go to games.
That’s really cool! Still awesome that they’ve been able to keep that up for so many years. Although, I don’t think they’ll be needing to buy too many up this year!
Very cool video! As a Nebraskan and Husker fan, I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves and got to have the Husker experience with a night game!! Hope you two come back for another game soon!! GO BIG RED!!
Our pleasure! With Nebraska on the rise, I’m sure we will be back in Lincoln for a big game within the next few years! It was an awesome time. Thanks!!🙏
Great job with your videos. Thanks for sharing! I’m a lifelong Nebraska fan living in NYC. Two of my kids graduated from Penn State. I’ve been to a few games over there, including a “White” Out” game. YOU MUST SEE IT UP CLOSE! The atmosphere is insane, and it is LOUD! I’ll also recommend checking out a game at Yankee Stadium during the post season. Great atmosphere as well!
When TX broke the home winning streak of Nebraska, they got a standing ovation from the Nebraska fans. As far as boosters buying tickets. You look at the crowd in the stadium from 3-5 years ago, to the CU game and it looks no different. A sea of red every time. So if boosters are buying tickets, they are still being used and that should count. Each corner entrance to the East and West Stadium section has an inscription they preserved with the upgrades to the buildings: Southeast: "In Commemoration of the men of Nebraska who served and fell in the Nation's Wars." Southwest: "Not the victory but the action; Not the goal but the game; In the deed the glory." Northwest: "Courage; Generosity; Fairness; Honor; In these are the true awards of manly sport." Northeast: "Their Lives they held their country's trust; They kept its faith; They died its heroes." My favorite is the Southwest one.
Thanks for coming to Nebraska. You caught the right game at the right time. Husker fans haven't had much to cheer for in recent years due to the program's struggles. Hopefully, things are on the upswing. The atmosphere you experienced was just a sample of what it was like during Nebraska's glory days. Also, the hostility between Nebraska and Colorado goes back decades when we were in the same conference. Deion Sanders simply poured gasoline on the fire, so to speak. BTW, did you get to have a Runza?😁😁
Runza was one of the things we completely forgot about. We’ll have to get one next time for sure! Also, I’m glad Nebraska is heading in the right direction, college football is better when you guys are good!
Thanks so much for the video! I will say this, I have been to MANY NFL games, some in prime time (Sunday and Monday night games) and even went to Superbowl 34 in Atlanta. NOTHING was close to the 94 Nebraska - Colorado game when the trash talking Buffs came into Lincoln with Natty aspirations - only to be completely shut down in a 24-7 Husker win. That was my first Husker game and still stands out in my mind as the loudest, most electric atmosphere Ive ever been in. During several points in the game, it felt like the stadium was shaking! Fast forward to now, after several frustrating years, Im so pumped we finally have a team I can be all in with both feet. We may not in em all but you know what, we might! BTW, fans didn't listen to the announcer to stay off the field in 1994 either.
Amazing video and so happy you guys had a great time at the game here in Nebraska. That game made us fans so happy to finally win over our rival and in the last game we face them in for a while!
It’s too bad that it’s the last time you’ll face them in some time, we very much enjoyed that game and enjoyed the rivalry. Happy that Nebraska is back, because college football is better that way!
We bought season tickets this year mostly to attend this game knowing it could be a big one for the Huskers program. It didn't disappoint! Fun to watch the game from your vantage point as a non-Huskers fan.
I was a Minnesota Duluth season ticket holder for around 9 years (2003-2012), so I am definitely aware of UNO! From what I hear they have a beautiful arena. Maybe we’ll have to start hitting some college hockey sometime! Great suggestion!
I enjoyed your video and subscribed. I’m looking forward to watching other stadium experiences from other places. Of course Nebraska is the best, so if you’re looking for the best, you’ve already found it
As an old time Husker fan I was very disappointed that many of our fans stooped to the low of Colorado fans last year and paying them back with the chant of " f-bomb CU". That was the first time I ever heard that kind of language and I hope it is the last. Call me an old blue hair, but I was there in the sixties to help begin this fan base. I want it to stay classy. Very nice video.
In Montana in the north endzone vs more head state we hit 112 decibels. You gotta hit a montana grizzlies game in the north end zone sometime. Especially during the playoffs it’s a top 10 loudest atmosphere in college football. They cause 27 false starts at home last year and I believe are at 8 throughout 2 home games this year.
@@FAN_addicts are you going to go to it this year. If wait intel next year and go to the brawl of the wild. It’s like the Super Bowl for Montana and it gets loud. Or hit a Montana Grizzlies home playoff game this year cause they get loud

By definition, that is still a sellout. Sellout = all tickets sold.

Same here 😂 (even though it’s the only the second Husker game I’ve attended, the other was Nebraska @ Minnesota)
