    We Italians make them every Christmas but use a heck of a lot of booze in it and apricot jam mixed in with the filling, but yours looks great too!
    I just made your Christmas pudding last month and it’s maturing and waiting for Christmas day! 🎄

    Hi GEOFF.. Hope you are batterning down the hatches.. We are cosy with log fire going and listening to wind and rain whistling around us... This is a cute recipe very different..l Will give it a go soon.... I'm making some of your date squares today.. We love those... You keep safe and warm now 💕

      @ Yes great anytime!! Soon we will making some for Christmas
      We add bit of espresso coffe cooled down to filling and some cacao powder. We leave in fridge for couple of days to absorb all the flavours. Each region has their own spin on this recipie :)

      HI Rachel. I hope you got the ones I sent. Yes you can use whatever liquid you want for soaking the raisins. But that liquid doesn't go into the paste unless a little is needed to make it spreadable.
