Admittedly I loved her when she was part of Rufus, but her solo work is iconic as well. One of my mom's favorite songs ever, was "Ain't Nobody," and it still makes me think of her everytime I hear it. I once had to fight back tears hearing it at a nail salon more recently, but thankfully I was surrounded by a room full of woman with their own share of songs on that damn curated playlist made by the owners daughter-in-law that gets to them too! 😅 4:27 Music is funny like that. The way a song can be pivotal to how you view a moment in your life forever. How it can turn a narcissist into believing they're the main character of their own story, and the music they listen to is merely their soundtrack. But I digress. My ex boyfriends all played an instrument and my dad is a guitar player himself. For my ex's, music was extremely technical and admittedly, it had an effect on how I view things. My current boyfriend is also musically inclined in a different way, and even studied to be a broadcast journalist. It's because of all of them, that I find myself perhaps too conscience of how a person produces their content. For example: I always loved the grimy sound of punk rock, and the scratchy sound of old records from before my time. But to my ex's, it sounded like cheaply produced garbage. They would both tell me about how even if you didn't have a lot of money, if you were serious about your craft, there were always ways to produce a better product; even if you couldn't afford studio time. I'm somewhere in the middle where even if I can appreciate the production that went into the final product, it's about how the music makes me *feel.* Kind of like asmr! 💁🏻♀️ Speaking of, you've made another absolutely perfect video. The crunches were on point 👌🏻 per usual. that's why i had to buy a chest freezer and a humidifier, i would come back home expecting freezer frost built up and then i would open it to just water so upsetting.
Well for me it’s one of those things I’m praying about letting it go…you’re right it’s very cold on the teeth n it causes bad teeth sensitivity it very damaging I’ve been to the dentist 2-3x already 😢 It’s not a good thing at all for me😢
