The fact that he wasn't a Special War Threat is a crime.
The only thing that would consider him a war threat would be the hollowfied bankai which wasn’t even his achievement🤷🏽♂️.

Uryu bodied him once and fight against just Pernida was enough to push him into the corner and almost die (if not for Nemu). Alone - he would have no chance against any of the top Sternritters, aside maybe Gerard. With Nemu, he probably could do the same thing Urahara did against Askin and obviously it allowed him to win against Pernida. He is crafty, but Sternritters were just that more stronger.
Also when you look at the Special Threats - majority of them can in one way or another destroy or straight up stop Yhwach's plans. Mayuri couldn't do that
Kisuke is a higher priority.
I agree with the Mayuri hype but him not being a threat, while Kisuke is, just reinforces that he is heading in that direction. Always a step behind but he can catch up.
Mayuri vs Pernida is going to be peak fiction.
The upcoming fight in cour 3 could put him above Urahara in everyone's opinion.
And that opinion would be objectively true.
But I feel they're gonna rush it in the anime anyways.
Man I hope they do that fight justice, I hope they don't rush and ruin it, hopefully his new bankai won't be CGI...
Hope animation in general for cour 3 steps up to make up for cour 2 it wasn't disappointing but as they promised us better animatiom it left something inside me a lot to desired. And hope they pull this 2 grand fights at the least sakuga from choreography,animation and effects animation. I am not complaining but bleach is peak now and just cause of animation I don't want it to be bashed or getting downplayed

@@Prushinthespiritit couldn’t be objectively tru considering uraharah is smarter, had the the original idea for hollowfied bankai which shifted the war🤷🏽♂️mayuri is good with information, uraharah can plan on the spot, most of mayrui fight he won’t simply because he already planned a counter and that’s smart and good but it doesn’t compare to having counters immediately 🤷🏽♂️

Hopefully, the animation and choreography will be good at least this time.
Episode 23 of TYBW was the best looking one in cour 2, hopefully Pernida fight will be prioritised the same way.

Mayuri is one of the underrated and underestimated captains especially in TBYW arc, they never considered him as a threat and this is one of quencies loophole. Mayuri is the MVP of that arc.
I've now realized why uryu nor his father died in the aushwalan it's because they probably are direct lines of blood with the soul king they possess a part of his blood other quincies don't that's why if you look at it uryu was already stronger than half the sternritters and no shrift

@@Swagjutsusolosfiction Mayuri is the real MVP. He saved Rose, Kensei, Matsumoto, Toshiro, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Byakuya, and Zaraki too. He figured out that the Quincies were hiding in the shadows, Mayuri also beat Pernida, a part of the Soul King.
Also Mayuri made the thing that Ichigo, Yoruichi, Chad and Orihime traveled to get to Royal Palace because he anticipated that Yhwach wanted to invade the Royal Palace, Mayuri also made those insects that transported those pills to the various squad members. To say Urahara did more is disingenuous when it's very clear that Mayuri did more. If you don't like Mayuri just say that,Without Mayuri they would have been screwed

Small correction, Mayuri sticks his thumb in his shikai's eye for fear factor 4, not mouth. The sword screams in pain.

That is it , if Shunsui dies in the future if the story and Kempachi or Byakuya doesent step up to take the spot , Mayuri will become capitan commander for sure 1000% . Man imagine a soul society run by Mayuri as capitan commander 😂😂😂😂 . Everyone would be probed , analized , made a counter to their shikai/bankai , and kept under a tight leash , and i would say more but this is just the stuff of nightmares for the Soul Society if it comes to be . Hope the animation for these fight will be sakuga cause this fight is one of the best of not best in entire shonen. My man mayuri need to have his moment cause its been 11-12 yrs after the haitus of og at this point and we not got anything of mayuri. So I want them to do this fight justice. I guess I am asking way to much but I just really want it to be peak and this fight deserve peak treatment. Hope taguchi and team do justice.

About of this video, it's so a nice to see a video about of Mayuri 1 of the Most Evil, Funniest, Smartest and Strongest Soul Society Gotei Captains, he's Evil, but I want to believe Mayuri is not a Villain, that's just hard to believe, because he's like an Evil Doctor of Soul Society. 1 of the Most Greatest Bleach Moments is the Battle between of Mayuri and Ishida in the Soul Society Arc to Save Rukia. It's so an Epic Moment defienitily in an Anime, but in a Manga too. I would love to see Mayuri's and Nemu's Backstory in Bleach TYBW Cour 3, but that might not happen, because everyone are so busy with The War between of Shinigamies and Quincies. 5:46 so I do have to call BS on Mayuri here as the idea of it covering a hundred mile range and be toxic to all would mean that just like Sinje (I can’t remember how his name is spelled so you will have to forgive my Dyslexic attempt) his Banki would be banned because it would have killed everyone in the soul Society any time he uses it, so we can say one of two things the creator forgot about the rest of the people in the soul Society or that Mayuri is lying about his Banki although what the lie is is another question, I think the lie is that while it can reach the range he says I think he has to consciously target a person to be infected by it and that when Uryu is infected the second time it’s because Mayuri is playing with both him and Renjie (I suck at remembering names, I can say it but not spell it) he could have chosen not to infect them if he wanted.

Admittedly at first I didn't care for bleach until episode 100 when he squared off against the bount. Then I was like I'm invested now lol and started from ep 1. He is my favorite character and zanpakuto design. It's also worth noting that ashisogi jizo's spirit form is a butterfly but when anyone encountered it in the filler all it could do was make noises and point. Even Mayuri couldn't understand what it was saying, but the only word it said that everyone could understand was "Bankai".
