Hi Stephen I have been watching this channel for a couple of months and always learn something new . Could you recommend a book on astronomy for the beginner .? I will be out on Friday evening soI might see the shower, although living in the middle of Birmingham there plenty of light pollution.

Thanks. There are so many books out there that it would be difficult to name one. You could check out the Collins Stargazer Bible. It's available on Amazon for pre-order only at the moment. It was co written by an astronomer friend of mine called Mary.
