I know what they commented but my point is why do those comments bother you. It’s logical for train operators to be horn heavy. Also what would be accomplished by retaking the video
@@jayasmrmore3687 horn heavy? you think the frequent horn honks do not bother you? too much horns are annoying! It is best for the rail operator to follow the signs...
duh texas medical center aint even popular. also houexplorer only filmed the ride with the h4 from fannin south to burnett tc so I decided to film the entire ride with the h4 and a clear cab view so thats why this one suddenly started to trend in views
Trains blow their horn at every crossing it’s for safety. Maybe though you are right that the warning honks could be shorter and the long honks should specifically be reserved for when they see danger.
Well trains need to honk for safety, Houstonian drivers are not always the brightest. They could do shorter warning honks I suppose and only save the long honks for dangerous situations.
Man that train is slow. And all the noisy announcements constantly. Blowing the horn too much too. Great video, good to what it's like there, but DART is so much better, very fast 60+ mph, and no announcements except the name of each station, and "doors open to the right (or left)". Also DART runs on railroad right of way not streets. That train in the video is more like a streetcar.
Well if you put stops every few blocks it is a bit difficult to go very fast. Also the speed limits are lower than they need to be on the tracks. The actual train has a capacity of 66 mph.
HEADS UP!
I may have to videotape this ride again because of complaints about the operator honking the horn very often.
Why do those complaints make a difference?

Nice work on the MetroRail Red Line you should do more on the Red Line.

Sheesh, the voice intercom does not shut up! And quit honking so much! They should put messages on display instead of saying them.

You’re right though the voice intercom should probably announce at a bit lower frequency
Totally unnecessary long horn pattern at the level crossings done by light rail nowhere else
yeah... blame the operator

the railcar is brand new so hopefully no one damages it
