I hate to admit this, but yeah you were right, to some extent! Tho Anwesha is doing pretty good for herself (got trained under Pandit Ajoy C.) and did make a mark in the industry, but on the whole, she deserves a lot more and let's hope she reaches her truly rightful position sooner or later. :)

Copying western music that too inefficiently simply discourages present kids and singers to learn Indian classical music. And we end up nowhere. Just few inefficient singers sing nowadays who shout and do absolutely nothing.
JAVED AKHTAR looks like he had a fight with his wife. Maybe he always looks like this. CHEHRA HEE AISA HAI His lyrics are good His knowledge of music is ZILCH. He is probably OK to judge music of NAUTANKI WALAS for that he has to be sitting in the Red light areas of Lucknow etc

Why? I think the Table player is Jeetu Shankar. It is Anwesha's fault, she couldn't keep up with the tempo. Hence she sang incomplete phrases and had to wait for khali.
