Nice build! I built a mini English wheel a couple of months back and it's nowhere near Nice as this ;p I think yall need a low rider steering wheel for the screw
You need your wheels polished and your metal clean of any grit or dirt etc... to roll smoothly... it might be slightly angled as it was pulling the metal to one side? or your pushing uneven on metal.... try tapping your bearing in further ( if possible ) on that tight die... tap only on outside race ( or you can damage it ) ..if you need to move inner race you need to tap on both races ..
Get a small utility trailer to carry larger things with your car.... it costs me about $80 a year ( Manitoba ) to insure/register it...i got it for Free and put less than $100 in it ( was sitting in a field )... if your handy you can find them beat up and fixeable or build one too... or make stuff like this English Wheel that breaks down and bolts together to haul in a tiny car...
My car can't have a trailer hitch! Also I live in the city so storing a trailer is almost impossible. That said, my truck will be on the road soon and that's gonna be the big toys hauler!!
@@moonbats69420 what car is it? lol..anything can haul a small load and get a hitch added...i been doing that since the 70's lol i got a few trucks ( 7 ) a couple are semi trucks..and a couple Suv's and a bigger car hauler trailer too... always easy to get stuff... or ask a friend too 😉
@@moonbats69420 city life..yuk...i lived in Winterpeg for too long...we moved out West of there 40 km about 2008..now i got 6+ acres of trees and 3 Shops and a huge house... much nicer life than before....was cheaper than a city house too...taxes are half of city taxes... we are under 30 minutes to Peg and another city... even gas is less than the taxes difference ( we don't drive lots and enjoy rural life )... i had a business in city... moved out to save on rent and needed a bigger house and shops anyways.... they make small folding trailers too for tight storage spots... anyways..just suggesting..i been there too.... your needs are your concerns
Unhinged! I love it

Def gonna keep my eye out for a rusty old chain steering wheel now that you've said it!!
Any old steering wheel can do what you need....salvage and recycle..upgrade when wanted...old farm tractor steering wheels are wide and light....

Yeah there's definitely gonna be some fine tuning with this going on!!
